Two weeks ago, I went to this store to buy a capacitor. The staff gave me one with incorrect specifications, and it cost over 60 CAD. I installed it, and it broke after just two days. Then I went to another store and bought a capacitor for 20 CAD. The price on Amazon is also around 20 CAD. This store is very dishonest, so I advise everyone to be especially cautious when shopping.

I used to hold NYHP with very high regard. My latest interaction has really changed that. I never complain about pricing or question the quality of product. Supporting local is something I strive to do. Although their supplied part corrected my immediate issue, it has not resolved my problem. The part although is the correct brand, it fails to match the original component. I am left with a part that is double the price of big box that will simply sit in my parts box for eventual disposal. Lesson learned.

Had the most positive experience visiting North York Heating Plumbing Electrical Supplies Ltd. today. Got what I needed for a plumbing issue I've been having at home and the owner took the time to speak with me and troubleshoot my issue. Highly recommended!

We recently had two bathrooms renovated. We were so confused with which shower system to purchase and we checked so many different places. Some places had one price advertised which looked good then it did not include rough in kit etc.. We then went to North York Plumbing and Jeremy helped us. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Also the prices are good and it includes everything. He also gave good advice. Thank you so much Jeremy for all your help. Our two shower systems look great and work great.

If I could give 10 stars I would! North York Heating and Plumbing is simply AMAZING! I had a very challenging plumbing problem with a portable washing machine not compatible with a non standard faucet size needed to provide water nor could I find a suitable adapter. Went to two other local supply stores and they brushed me off and said they couldn't help....I was getting desperate as the washing machine could no longer be returned. Called North York and they suggested that I bring everything that I could in. Took Anthony less than 5 minutes to come up with the solution of hooking it up to the faucet water source under the sink where everything is a standard size....my hero!!!
