Nelson is the best. We have a 2 year old golden retriever who has been going out with Nelson for just over. Year. In that time Louie has become much calmer, better behaved and just all around happier. We are very grateful to have found Nelson and all the great pups Louie gets to play with

Nelson is an amazing and reliable dog walker! He has been walking Yogi for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier. Yogi always comes back tired and happy after their adventures to beautiful parks and trails. Nelson genuinely cares about the dogs and ensures they get plenty of exercise and attention. It’s comforting to know that Yogi is in such good hands. Highly recommend Nelson if you’re looking for a trustworthy, top-notch dog walker!

We are so grateful we found Nelson. Jasper is a border collie/lab full of energy and loves his walks. He is sensitive and caring. Jasper waits at the door for Nelson to arrive and he is excited every time he ventures out with all his friends. Nelson is very trustworthy and caring. Nelson sends pictures of each outing and comments on their day! He is honest and always keep me informed. From the pictures he sends, the dogs are always connected and have a great time. Our labradoodle Duncan has never been happier or more tired! I have been waiting for a service like this to come to our neighborhood for a long time and then Nelson came along. I work downtown and am gone all day - I felt bad about Duncan only getting a walk around the block every evening. Now Dunc and his buddies head out off leash every day - exploring, running, playing and jumping and he comes back exhausted. Nelson genuinely cares about his charges - treats all the doggies like his own and adores every one of them. You can see how he is with them. Duncan also loves Nelson and is waiting excitedly by the door every day!! It's such a load off and I couldn't wish for better than Nelson. The best part is getting the photos every evening - it warms your heart seeing them all play together! If you're thinking about using Bow Wow Dog Hiking, don't hesitate. Nelson is definitely the guy you want looking after your pups!!

Nelson treats our Velma like she's his own, which is comforting and reassuring. The hikes are exactly what our girl needs because she is a high energy doggie. She comes home spent and happy as can be. We couldn't be happier (Velma included) and we are incredibly grateful for Nelson and Bow Bow Dog Hiking!!!

It's hard to figure out where to even begin..... Finding Nelson's business has been one of the best things that have come into mine and my 2 year old Golden Retriever's lives. I rescued my dog from Egypt a year ago and Nelson took him under his wing like his own and has made every one of his days fun and adventurous while always protecting him and keeping him safe. He is the most dedicated, knowledgeable, kind and caring dog walker/hiker and an all around great human. I truly feel blessed that we found him and my little Haven loves him to pieces! I HIGHLY recommend Nelson's business for any dog owners as your dog will not only be exercised and socialized but also always safe and HAPPY!

Nelson is truly the best. I highly highly recommend his services!He has a deep understanding and love for all his dog clients and cares about them like they’re his own! I know that my pup will be safe and happy when he goes out with Nelson. And I know he has a blast because of the photos Nelson sends us after every hike!Nelson is very trustworthy, knowledgeable and great at communicating to constantly further his bond with the dogs. This was such an amazing relief when I first started sending my puppy out with him. It helped ease any worries I had becuase I knew my pup was in the best hands. Now we’re regular clients and my pups hikes with Nelson are some of his favourite days! :)He really is one of the best in the business and I cannot recommend him enough!

My dog isn’t just a dog, he’s family. But he’s also a handful. When I first started looking for a dog walker I was terrified. This is someone you’re going to trust with a beloved member of your family. When I first met Nelson, my anxiousness faded away, as I realized how much Nelson truly loved animals. The thing that really sealed the deal for me was a couple months into having Nelson walk George everyday. He came to pick the dog up when he thought I wasn’t home. Hearing George so excited to see Nelson, and Nelson silly talking back to him is one of my favourite memories. Nelson has been coming almost daily for over a year now; and my dog is heartbroken any day he knows Nelson should be coming and I’ve asked him not to. If you’re looking for an amazing dog walker, you’d be crazy to look anywhere else.

Nelson has been with our chocolate lab since we brought our puppy home at 8 weeks old - first for puppy breaks, then for walks and hikes when Soma got older. He is as attached to our dog as we are. It is such a relief to know that Nelson is always there to take our dog out during our work day so that he can get exercise and socialize with other dogs. It is the highlight of the dog's day. We are so grateful that Nelson genuinely cares so much for our pet.

Our five year old Labradoodle, Maggie, gets really excited when Nelson comes by to take her out for a walk. She starts off with lots of energy but is pooped for the rest of the day after the walk. He is really good with the dogs and the owners. :)

Nelson is definitely a really responsible dog walker. My dog has a very high energy level, she usually plays hours to release. But at Bow Wow Hiking, she sleeps all the way to morning. She is so tired when back home, she even doesn't greet with me when I am back home.
Strongly recommend Nelson, he provides a real hiking, instead of play in dog park. He is the BEST.

I am so happy to have found Bow Wow Dog Hiking in my neighbourhood. It is such a relief to know that my little Louie is out for walks with Nelson. Louie is a bit too small to do the big hikes, so Nelson takes him on nice long walks with other dogs that he knows will play well together. Nelson truly cares about all of the dogs. He provides updates to me on any of my pup’s strange behaviour and sends photos and video updates. Louie is always so excited to see Nelson, and that really says it all. Excellent service! Thanks Nelson, for all you do for the dogs of Unionville and beyond!

Nelson is amazing! He takes our dog out for at least an hour hike (usually 1.5 hours) and she comes back exhausted and happy. He cares about our dog like she was his own and will go the extra mile to make sure she’s taken care of, including dropping by to let her out for last minute pee breaks if she’s sick. Nelson is very flexible and a pleasure to deal with. We especially love his hiking blog where we can catch up on the adventures of our dog and her hiking group! We would highly recommend Nelson if you’re looking for a great dog walker/hiker!

I was adopted by my dog in October while between jobs and it was important to me that I find a dog walker for when I started my new job. Rufus has come with some challenges so it was imperative that I find the right person for him. Nelson was that perfect fit. He treats Rufus like his own and Rufus looks so forward to that hour in his day. He's really bonded to Nelson which is exactly what I wanted. Nelson has been trustworthy, reliable and a very kind and caring dog walker. To be honest, I'm not sure who benefits more from these daily walks, Rufus or Nelson...just kidding, it's me! I benefit most from these walks!
