Went in to purchase a carton of milk and pre-auth for my gas.I waited several minutes until someone finally came to the counter and seemed somewhat frantic. I asked them to pre-auth me for 100$ and for the carton of milk. My receipt showed 103.99 total- OK no problem. Filled my SUV up to 74$ and went home.Fast forward 2 weeks I log into my banking to pay some bills and notice a charge of 103.99 on my account from MR.GAS??? So I was charged the FULL amount even though I only technically spent 77.99$ ??? I cannot dispute the transaction because it was made with a debit card, and emailing/trying to call these people is futile- nobody answers.Now im out 30 or so $$!! Never pre-auth at this scummy place (or any Mr. Gas for that matter). Will not be going back here no matter what. Thanks for stealing from me!!

I Enjoy The Oops Convenience Store. IyscAlso A Gas Station and the Ontario Northland Bus Drops And Picks Up Passengers Beside It. Great Place To Grab Drinks And Snacks For The Travel.

Very rude staff in the night (9:10 pm 13th sep 2022). I bought lottery today i filled a form and it was showing some weired error and instead of 21 dollars it was printing 223. Dollars I told her there might me some error in the machine. And she started arguing with me as if it was my mistake.Very rude and impolite.

Here's a copy of what I wrote to head office and did not get a response!Employee Rudeness.Arnprior On, Daniel St. location.I have complained before (3-4mos ago) about the much older long brown haired short lady who works at the Daniel St. location in Arnprior (rude, unfriendly, pounding the keyboard and screen when getting lottery and dismissive if asked to get lotto) I was told she had been spoken too. I frequented the gas station many times since and she's been okay and sometimes friendly.I just got back from 3 weeks in manitoba and went in today for lottery. Would have gotten gas but heard it was going down tomorrow. Checked my 649 and Max at the rear of the store and I could hear joking and friendly jovialness with a gentleman that had just come in. The store at this point was not busy.I walked right up behind him and said a very cheerful "How are you doing" I was met with a scowl, anger, and fine......When I proceeded to ask for lottery it was as if she had turned into something out of someones nightmare! It's a huge wonder that you guys even have screens left. She pounded it so hard and was so snarky that I was shaking inside. By the time I got my lotto max and 649 I decided I would never frequent your gas station again! I was horrified by this so called employees behaviour towards me. If it's such a problem to sell lottery your station should not be selling it and if that's the calibre of the employees in your store it's time to close your doors because she works daily and God knows how many people you have lost because of her. I am a local so it's a lost bi-weekly sale for your station. Sometimes more. (I drive a Ram truck) By the way the date of visit was today July 14th and the time was precisely 11:51 am this morning. Very disappointed customer!

The staff at the store are truly lovely people.I accidentally dropped my phone while I was pumping gas and drove two hours away before noticing. The staff at the store called my emergency number and held on to my phone until I could drive back to Arnprior to pick it up two days later. I could not be more grateful, thank you so much for your kindness!

The Mr. Gas station in Arnprior, Ontario deserves positive recognition. The staff are always so pleasant and efficient. Honestly, the bathroom facilities are the cleanest I have ever seen. I make sure that I stop there every time I go to Ottawa. For gas, er, petroleum, of course! Lol.

Stop at Mr. Gas at least 3 times a week. The service is wonderful. Employees are very friendly. One specific employee at the Arnprior store named Tom is by far the most curtious and friendly customer service rep that I have seen in a long time. Other businesses need more people like him in their employ.
