Nice staff and facilities. Course was in good shape. Pace.of play was abysmal. We started 30 min late and took 5 hrs to get around. Some tee boxes were backed up 3 groups. Weekends are busy of course but shouldn't have to wait 10+ minutes at each tee.
Edit: you have a system that texts golfers, so maybe text in the morning and let people know its a 6 hr golf day. Would def have passed on the round.

Course is usually in good shape, greens are nice.
Service inside is terrible. I’ve given multiple tries.. every time I’m disappointed… tonight we sat on the patio after our round where multiple staff walked by without acknowledgement… went inside to ask for menus… four staff just standing around whom seem annoyed with me… went back out and 5-10 mins later still no one came so we left…

Beautiful course in very good condition. Organized yet easy going. The carts are pretty old. The restaurant and bar is fabulous. Great service from Allison. It was only her second day on the job and she was great. The food was fantastic.

Staff are all very nice. There are better kept courses in the Windsor area but you get what you pay for. Coachwood has some very nice specials and drinks are more reasonably priced. Would reccomend.

We had our wedding with Coachwood in August of 2023. The hall was beautiful, we got a stellar price, and our guests seems to have a great night! Only reason I docked 1 star is because after the head chef left for the night, the remaining staff wouldn't allow us to take our leftover food that we paid for(we were told there were no leftovers, but we had a few no-shows so there absolutely should have been). Don't take this the wrong way, they were all very friendly, just misinformed. My other reason for docking 1 star is because the dessert table was cleared off before the night was over, and before my husband and I could get one of the lava caked we chose in place of a wedding cake. When we asked the staff if we could have a lava cake since we didn't get one yet, they told us there were none left (160 lava cakes). The head chef was on vacation following our wedding, and upon his return, he immediately contacted us and gave us the leftover food that was still good, and some lava cakes. Honestly, I hope chef Shaun got a huge raise, because was given the wedding coordinator role after the previous gentleman left, and he did his absolute best to make it work. Hats off to the chef, he rocked!

We had the 4th annual Alzheimer’s Memorial Golf Tournament today at Coachwood and they hit it out of the park! The golf side was well organized and helped in getting all the scoring and results tabulation quickly. AND the food was outstanding!!! Shawn and his crew were absolutely terrific. Lots and lots of really good food and on time! Thanks you everyone at Coachwood for a successful event.

I volunteered at the Alzheimer’s Golf tournament today and several friends and family participated. Everyone had the absolute best experience. Congratulations to all the staff at Coachwood. The course was in amazing condition. The Pro shop was so helpful with the setup and scoring. Kudos to the dining staff, the meal was delicious!

Stopped by for lunch and had some Coachwood wings. They were A+++, large and saucy. Highly recommend it. Coming back for wings and beer on Sunday for their buy 1lb get 1lb extra for free. ??

I attended a wedding at Coachwood last night on Saturday, Aug 5th,2023...The meal was absolutely horrible. The salad was the only thing in the meal that was delicious. The pasta tasted like it was leftovers that were microwaved for 30 sec. It was barely even warm. The prime rib dinner was so over done and tough. Prime rib should never be tough. It was draped over cold garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The gravy was super salty. I have honestly never been to a wedding that I have left my plate almost in it's entirety. There were so many guests who were so ? disappointed. What probably cost the bride so much money was such a waste. So disappointed Coachwood. Will never recommend this place for a wedding.

Not a golfer but really enjoyed the food and service in the dining room. Tyra our server was very friendly and efficient. We were a party of 3 and all meals were very good. We had heard the food was good and it was indeed. We will be back.

My father's wings came out raw! I will never be back. My food and the rest of my tables' food came out after 1 hour of waiting, and they served the clubhouse with wonderbread instead of the multi grain toast advertised on the menu. Further, the server mentioned that the menu was reduced to only deep-fried items plus a clubhouse and wrap. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I do not recommend it to anyone in the mcgregor / ahmerstburg area. My server was great, and she's the only thing that made the experience slightly worth it.

I'm not sure exactly what has happened here but whatever the case, the place is a circus. I've heard rumours that new ownership is in place and while that certainly makes sense in terms of explaining the dramatic decline of the business, there is still lots of "Fox Glen" signage all over the golf course.I don't wish to confuse anyone because this was once one of the top golf courses in Essex County but it's decline has been both rapid and dramatic. Last year was a tough one but this year, for some inexplicable reason, they decided to discontinue having starters and rangers!!! Predictably the results have been chaotic and the golf course is pure chaos. Once you've checked in, it's every man, woman and child for themselves because there is no starter to organize the tee boxes. People routinely tee off on the wrong 9 (Like most golf courses, the starting tee rotates between the front 9 and the back 9) and this obviously leads to lots of confusion, lots of arguments and LONG waits. My league has already voted to leave at the end of the season and move over to one of the courses nearby, probably Dominion. In any case, I strongly recommend avoiding this place completely and that is not easy for me to say, it's very sad. But there are just too many nicer and less expensive courses within a 10 or 15 minute drive, so do your homework before booking a tee time and save yourself some money and aggravation!

The mother's day brunch was truly great and exceeded our expectations. The dessert table was huge and the omelet station was a nice touch. Kudos to the staff and kitchen crew, very prepared and attentive on a busy mother's day.The management team is clearly focused on the satisfaction of their customers for both the restaurant and golf course. They have gone above and beyond in every way. I will definitely be returning.
