I brought my vehicle into Canadian Tire for new tires. During the process they scratched one of my rims. I’ve owned this vehicle since new and this is the first time the tires have been removed from the rims.
I spoke with the general manager and he basically stated they didn’t do it. It’s obvious that the scratch is from the tire machine because the scratch is where the rim meets the tire.
I would not recommend having Canadian Tire in Amherstburg service your vehicle.

Went to the store today to view head phones advertised in the flyer up to 55% off. Nothing showed any discounted prices. store manager was clueless and offered nothing in regards to the issue. Seems to be a poor way to operate a business

They have everything you need with a huge selection just don't go there looking for help in any department really because there is none. The cashiers are always friendly.

Without notice this store now closes at 8pm rather than 9pm like all other retailers in the region. After getting there minutes past 8pm, I sat in my car and did some browsing on my phone and in the 10mins I was there no less than a dozen cars had parked and then departed all not having heard the news either.
Seems like a lot of loss business opportunities for them-- not that they're my go to store anyhow, but this makes me even less likely to even look at their weekly flyer going forward.

I went to get a fishing rod. Medium fast. They are on clearance. I had two in my hand. I spoke to a young lady (great worker) I asked if she can mark it down or pay half here and half infront of my wife in the front. To hide my fishing addiction from my wife(over 20 rods at home) she said yes we can at the sporting desk. I'll get the manager. I told the same story to the manager and he accused me of telling him to Steele. I told him that that's not what I said you need to relax I'm trying to hide the actual cast from my wife.id like to pay half here and the rest in the front or mark it down for me.( it was a red tag. Clearance and I know they can mark it down. Like they did for before) I did not have an issue from the other associate in 25 years. Why did he feel like he was impowered.to talk down to me. I got asked to leave and I did. I have never felt more humiliation and in my life .I might have issues with my wife and a bad habit of fishing. But money is the same to CT. That's what happens when you have young man in a power role and wants to show off infront of a girl. This guy must not be married and doesn't understand marriage take work and Fiennes. I know I'm not the only man that buys stupid stuff and pray the wife doesn't find out. 03.24.24 4.30pm. Great store and great people but poor manager on shift. Hopefully next person that, that manager deal with has a better experience because no will buy two fishing rods and risk and argument with the wife. the only thing he did was make that young girl that was working there watching him be a fool. To the young lady that was helping me, Thank you for everything you did. You and I did nothing wrong and I appreciate you. To the Store owner training is needed for that manager. Check camera
