Someone tried to get to sign up for a Canadian Tire credit card while I was pumping gas. She wouldn't stop talking about it, even after I said "no, thank you". She finally got the hint, but still said she'll ask me again next time. I won't be back.

I want to say hello Amherstburg! I know that there's bad apples in every bushel so this is not directed at everyone.Today I went to the Canadian Tire gasbar which had a fair bit of activity so I waited a pickup started his engine next to me but didn't move so I went go around then he drove away so as I was beside him at the point I angled to the pump and started pumping. Yes I was on an angle but there still was room to get by. I waived to the guy and smiled behind me to let him know I was sorry for the inconvenience. He took out his phone to take a picture of my vehicle so I went upto his car as he started driving away asking why he took the picture. He didn't want to answer then another guy beside him started mouthing off running me down then another person going into pay also tore a strip off me.Sorry but I wasn't going to just stand there taking the abuse so I tried to explain the situation but they just went off more. After they left the woman who worked there at the propane area came upto me and said don't worry about it that she witnessed the whole thing and that I didn't do anything wrong. She even said people are jerks. At the same time another young woman who worked inside came out and was extremely rude because I parked badly.The whole point of me ranting is because it only takes a few people to give a place a bad name and since this has never happened to me before I was left very upset and it left a bad taste in my mouth. What's wrong with people anymore?

Go here to collect the CT money. Never go during busy times as waiting for a pump is not fun as the parking lot can become chaotic. Not the greatest setup for over crowding.

Ive been getting my gas/ diesel at Canadian tire gas bars for about a year now! Over all very please with the Canadian tire bonus money you get when you fill up using your canadian tire credit card - or CT VIP points card!

Everytime single time I have used the pumps I never get a receipt have to go into the store. With covid you would think they would change these out for less interaction but must be to much work.

Staff are friendly. Gas is usually more expensive than most places. But the Cascadian tire money you get really adds up fast. It's easy to save for big purchases from the main store.
