A wonderful maple farm located in the Maple Syrup capital of Ontario! We loved our taffy after our walk in the woods to see all the maple trees, buckets and lines for syrup. The Kettle Boys were great entertainment and taught us about making maple syrup over the fire. Plus the samples were delicious!

Outstanding. The Fortune family have created an interactive, educational experience with a elaborate demonstrations from the past.The quality of the product would guarantee a successful business, but in addition, with the help of a team of expert volunteers, provide a visitor experience that by itself would be worth the drive.

The most interesting and informative maple syrup farm. We learned many things we never knew before and tasted so many different varieties of maple syrup. Worth visiting! We bought few bottles of maple syrup and definitely will be back for more. Can’t wait to take there my family.

Great place for kids & wonderful walking trails for everyone. They also have a lovely store on site with a lot of Maple related products. Needless to say we bought a few.
Kid-friendliness: Great set up for kids with different Era of maple syrup making. The adults liked it too.

Great location, just outside of Almonte. This business makes delicious maple syrup with a commercial enterprise at the front attached to the maple shop and an old fashioned shack deeper on the property that makes it slower but just as good! Great education opportunity and friendly service.We did just a short walking trail due to the age of our little ones but there's a pretty good loop to be done for those who want to enjoy the day outdoors.Thank! We'll be back for sure!
Vegetarian options: It's maple syrup... I don't think they had anything that wasn't vegan.
Kid-friendliness: Great engagement of your kids who loved learning about maple syrup and how it's made. Had the opportunity for our youngest to try his first ever taste of maple!
Parking: Angled parking is encouraged

Best dark maple syrup in the area. Everyone is always smiling, cracking jokes, or laughing. Going to fortune farms once they start tapping is my favourite way to end the winter.

This is a MUST for anyone who loves maple syrup. They have the absolute best anywhere in Eastern Ontario... and I've tried dozens!!!Not only that, the Fortune family is among the nicest you'll meet. They love their craft, farm and all the visitors.This is a great place for families as well as there is a fantastic walking trail, educational experience with the Shantytown boys, and FREE samples for everyone.Pick up up some outstanding products at the shop... I promise, you will thank me for it.Can't wait for our annual pilgrimage in the coming weeks.

Wonderful place to visit. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable about the making of maple syrup, and they enjoy answering LOTS of questions. The Kettle boys are lovely and hilarious; making syrup the old fashion way. Slim gave us all the information and shared his recipes for bakes beans and a sweet with maple syrup.
After our tour we stopped in the little shop and bottle several bottles of syrup which are all reasonable priced. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family, it is a nice way to spend a morning and have fun doing so.
