Fortune Farms Maple Sugar Bush just outside of Almonte is operated by the Fortune family and as many as three generations of family members may be in attendance. Our objective is to make your visit an enjoyable experience. We love to explain the art and science of maple syrup and to hear your stories of making maple syrup. Off-season, we're open on Saturdays for sales and closed the rest of the week. During the sugarbush season we boil fresh sap nearly every day to make syrup. We also make maple candy and maple “butter”and other maple products.

This is not a restaurant. It is a sugar maple farm. They sell maple sugar products. Maple Syrup, etc. They make great maple syrup!

This here Canadian delight is definitely a reminder of the past in the way the deliciousness of the very dark syrup strengthens the framework to the heart and gives substance to the soul.
