I've had several encounters with the lady on front cash who is extremely rude even when being asked a simple question. I'm leaving this review simply because it has been so many instances, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. She is a deterrent to customers. My first choice is Canadian tire (which doesnt always have what I'm looking for) or I'll drive to Cornwall just so I don't have to encounter her.

Told me my lawn mower air filter was in stock, despite their inventory saying 5 were in stock in the warehouse next door. Is it that hard to go and get one for me? If you guys don't want customers, why don't you just close down the store? Waste of my time

I have never shopped at a Home Hardware where you were treated so badly and unprofessional. After purchasing $1000 worth of lumber and building supplies it was discovered that the lag screws didn't make it in to box that the cashier packed it in. When I returned to the store they wouldn't give me a credit or admit that a mistake may have been made on their end. In fact I felt like they were insinuating that I was lying.The product in question worked out to less than $6, on a $1000 order. That works out to 0.6% of the entire order. They were willing to lose a local customer than concede a mistake.People of Alexandria, save your money, go to to a better and more professional store.Clayton
