“My favorite thrift store in Oshawa. Sure we have value village and talize, but mission thrift is just my go to (also the closest to me). I'm so glad they extended their hours. I love the color coded knick knacks. I loved discovering all the little pocket areas for books, CDs, vinyls, crafts, bedding. They change up the placement of certain racks and items occasionally, but they're still easy to find. They have good deals daily and the staff are so kind. It really feels like a community shopping there.”
“Great place to donate and shop for excellent used items. Very clean environment, friendly staff and no tax to pay. Realistic pricing unlike some of the corporate outfits.”
“I used to resent the prices compared to the Salvation Army; but really, thank goodness a successful secondhand box store exists. Do not support a throwaway culture. Find authentic clothes here.”
“I donate to Value Village often, there is always people in need of affordable furniture or cloths, and if you are getting rid of something and are thinking of taking it to the dump, if its in decent condition, bring it to Value Village instead. They even offer you a discount coupon to buy something at Value Village when you drop off any donation.”
“Very organized and clean store. Prices are very good, much cheaper than value village. When they have color tag sales you can get amazing deals. Plus they still have change rooms!”
“I am filming today and I needed a pair of cowboy boots, something in a Jean material and a cowboy hat and this place had exactly what I needed it at a reasonable price.”
