Extremely Disappointing Experience with Structube – Poor Customer Service
I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Structube that has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to share my story. After purchasing a lighting fixture online for a birthday gift, changes in circumstances made the item unusable. Despite the fixture being unopened and in perfect condition, my request for a simple store credit or gift card was flatly denied by the store staff.
Given this unacceptable level of customer service, I will not be shopping at Structube again, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid the store as well.

Always a positive experience at Structube Ajax, the manager Jason is awesome. We live in clarington area but drive down to the ajax location to place all our orders due to the great customer service. Our entire house is furnished with furniture we bought from Structube Ajax.

Structube you get a 1 star.
My couch arrived and the delivery drivers left it standing up. At 8 feet high, that's quite dangerous. I asked them to lay it down and they said it would be easier to take out of the box standing up. Well, spoiler alert...it wasn't. The couch came was caught on part of the box and then the rest quickly fell down. The metal part of the backrest sliced the back of my right hand.
I managed to get the couch into it's new space only to see no legs on it. I was so excited for my first couch I didn't think to ask if assembly would be required, I guess the sales associate assumed I would know. Well I can put legs on a couch, but surprisingly there were no holes for the legs and no tools to put it together either. You need a drill which I do not have, or you can screw into wood. I cannot do this on account of my arthritis.
I called the store and the phone was answered by the manager "Devon". Devon immediately had their back up and was pretty rude which caused me to be in a similar state. Devon said a lot of rude things for example, "Well we just assume people have bought a couch before." When I explained I don't own a drill and I have arthritis, I asked to send the couch back and Devon said there's a pickup fee, even though the truck is probably 10 minutes away max. Devon also said that they own the same couch and they put it together. I asked Devon if they had arthritis and they said no.
The whole phone call was extremely frustrating. It was like talking to a robot working off a script with absolutely zero customer service training, and if they were trained then they need to be retrained. I asked if there's someone that I can pay to come out and assemble the couch and Devon said Structube doesn't offer that service.
I'm very happy to let everyone out there know that they should avoid Structube. The couch is cheap quality, the customer service is inadequate. They don't take their customers through the process, just happy to collect your money and drop off a giant 8 foot 250 pound box and dip.
There was a way in this situation to retain me as a customer but you lost it. Devon could've done a lot better.

Horrendous horrendous horrendous. Bought two sideboard tables from them - I did a quick check for any damages on delivery but i couldn’t assemble for 3 weeks because I was moving - only to find out the manufacturing is extremely poor on the product - on both pieces two pieces are short - leading the cabinet to be misaligned and drawers and doors not closing properly - on top of that one drawer was missing the necessary screw to complete construction - I’ve been trying to get a refund or sometype of remediation for 3 weeks now and nothing - they call me during my work hours say they can’t reach and then close the case (twice now). They are HORRENDOUS - go to ikea instead

Their quality isn't really quality. They look pretty to not be used. I've tried a few different items from them over the years but they are just not made to be used. The legs on all their items are flimsy to say the least. I've purchased a couch and a bed. Both looked pretty but failed rather quick.

I was in search for a new brake frame, my previous one was from Structube which I’ll be passing down to my now teenager. I seen one that I loved but wanted to view in-store before making the purchase. Although I liked the bed, I will not be purchasing it simply due to the awkward atmosphere created by the staff. I was already uncomfortable as I was the only individual in the store, but no one came up to me and as I was leaving, the staff were bunched up behind the cash register. I said, “have a good day” and heard a giggle as I opened the door. I don’t know it is was for me but the timing was spot on and unusual.It’s clear given the previous comments, nothing is actually being done about this.

On the evening of July 20th, 2023, around 7:09 pm, I paid a visit to Structube. It's worth noting that the store has distinctive items, some of which I managed to capture through photographs. The pricing of these items struck me as quite reasonable. However, the standout feature of my visit was not the merchandise, but rather the slightly uncomfortable experience stemming from an interaction with the employees.
Regrettably, the employee on duty seemed to create an awkward atmosphere. His demeanor lacked any signs of warmth or acknowledgement when I entered the store. Despite this initial impression, we continued to browse the store. Interestingly, I observed that subsequent customers received similar treatment – a lack of smiles or even basic acknowledgment upon their arrival.
Undoubtedly, exceptional customer service plays a pivotal role in shaping the perception of any establishment. Even when a business showcases appealing products at competitive prices, the impact of poor customer service cannot be underestimated. In this instance, the less-than-pleasant encounter with the employee overshadowed the positive aspects of the store. As a result, I departed without making any purchases. Regrettably, I find it difficult to envision a scenario in which I would choose to revisit the store in the future.

Purchased a dresser/chest. This has been the worst quality of furniture ive ever purchased. This was supposed to be for my daughter to use for many years to come and the drawers started falling apart. Not to mention there were holes in the velvet upon delivery. So i contacted structube within the warranty period and wouldnt you know they wont honor it. They basically wrote the warranty in an email back to me and said it does not qualify.Why even provide a warranty. Nothing written in the email even explains why the warranty is not being honored. I am extremely disappointed in structube and will no longer be purchasing any of my furniture from them. Id rather go to ikea where they stand behind their products and honor their warranties and return policies.I did nothing that would damage this dresser and I've never had drawers fall apart like that with little silver beads falling out and glue all over the tracks. The silver balls are actually a hazard to my kids as they could pick it up and eat it. How hard could it he to build stable drawers. I have ikea furniture that I assembled myself and has lasted 10-15 years.Initially called to find out if structube had a repair department. I wouldve been happy just to get it fixed. But then the associate told me all furniture hass a one-year warranty. But looks like it wouldve been better if they didnt tell me about it. You should tell your associates not to bother telling people as im sure you do not honor it often, if at all.Extremely disappointed. Your company should be ashamed of yourselves.And so if anyone knows how to fix these tracks that are slowly falling apart probably because they were put together using alot of glue and hoping theyd stay together please send me a message.Each drawer is going to fall off these poorly constructed tracks and the silver balls are falling out one by one all over my daughtets room. These are the worst drawers.ive ever seen. How hard could.it be to make a drawer track? Ikea makes it so anyone can assemble it. Please help if this company wont! I spent almost 700 dollars on this chest!And not sure why you posted that useless response. You have done nothing to help and i dont understand. I never said i understood so why are you thanking me for understanding.This is a terrible product you sold and you know it probably why its discontinued and youre doing nothing about it. Take responsibility for your products before someone gets hurt!
