“August 18, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I stopped by Care & Cure, Pickering Village Pharmacy located in Ajax on Old Kingston Road, a pharmacy that had been recommended by one of my doctors for its reputation in compounding. My objective was to locate Wild Yam Cream. Upon entering, I was promptly welcomed and offered assistance. Despite my potential confusion about the specific product, Mena took the time to engage with me, asking insightful questions and conducting a search to enhance my understanding. I'm truly thankful for the dedicated support from the staff and their attentive approach to addressing my requirements.”

“Mani was very accomodating, providing my husband and I with same-day Covid vaccines when we called in on a Sunday. In comparison, we were unable to book an appointment via city/provincial sites or pharmacies within the GTA (they were overbooked, depleted their supplies or were uncertain when they would receive more Moderna vaccines). We hardly waited and were treated in a courteous and professional manner by Mani and his staff. We appreciate that old-fashioned values and kindness are still practised by this small community pharmacy - thank you!”

“Usually friendly staff and knowledgeable pharmacist. I want to say I know everyone makes mistakes, but be extra careful especially because you are dealing with medications. Weeks ago few prescriptions were faxed and they missed one. It was hard to get hold if them to enquire about the missed prescription. I ended up going back to my doctor who showed me that everything was faxed. Anyhow, he faxed it again. Called the morning after and had to wait couple hours to get it. I asked if I couldn't get it earlier and she said they just opened. You missed a very important medication weeks ago and can't put a rush on the one that was resend? Not good!”

One was fussing that she couldn't find an associate (and the other Karen joked that "no one works these days"), and the other was annoyed that her Presto cards were not free because supposedly TTC said otherwise. “Closing at midnight is a business decision. The company is not a charity. If it were so profitable, other companies would have jumped at the opportunity, eg Rexall down the street. So be happy that they are at least open until midnight, and quit harping. It is not an obligation to be open 24/7. Adjust your lifestyle and shop within the 16 hour window.”
