Is common sense not common here??
This place is a joke. I’m a 250 lbs 6’2 43 year old. I simply ran in to get rolling papers ..The plan was In and out.
A younger skinny Indian guy that looks at least 12-15 years younger than me actually asked me for my for my ID … ok it’s law I get it, but I’m a 43 year old man he said I had to go back to my vehicle to get it.(after he saw me waiting for about 3 people in line)
Other people in there said it’s ridiculous to ask a grown man for ID. I said the same to him. It’s not even like I’m purchasing cigarettes.
They are supposed to be trained to ID people looking who look 30 or younger. There comes a point where you have got to use common sense. Train these guys to know what grown adults look like. He says it’s normal procedure meanwhile I get rolling paper 15+ times a year and in my whole adult life never get Id’d for something so basic. After going back to my vehicle and getting my ID to prove to him as a 43 year old man I just felt… insulted.
*** After waiting in line I was told I had to go back to my vehicle .. to get ID….to purchase …………Rolling paper… no no not the cigarette’s…. Just rolling paper. Are you freaking kidding me?? ***

On another occasion I was rushing early to go to work. He was doing garbages but told me he would only attend to me when he was done since I had cash.
I remember leaving the same way I am leaving today. I’m starting to notice a pattern here. Often Feeling poor customer service and honestly considering now if it’s cause I’m black. Since when don’t customers come first?
Train these guys better for Petro the service is shameful… esp the little skinny Indian guy. When your other customers in the line are also reacting the saying it’s ridiculous to ID grown people who are x2 into their adulthood ….for papers??♂️… That should tell you something. Petro needs to train him to ask people who are actually in that age group? You insult your 40+ customers when you’re making them go back to their vehicles …
43 years old **** and a kid who weighs a buck 20 asking me for ID..smh
Train your guys better. !!!
Ps I will also suggest googling how much they charge for rolling paper in Ontario. (Which is $2.79-$3 the most) please see attached photo…. If you’re going to overcharge and Rob your customers at least pretend to be nice while doing so.
I would give zero stars if I could. Read other reviews. Clearly they overcharge for everything here and sell a carwash service that doesn’t clean your vehicle..

Charged me $20.33 for a wash with undercarriage wash. Didn't wash under carriage then argued with me. If you want to wash the salt off underneath don't go there.

The parking lot was clean, tidy and well maintained, and well lit. The staff were friendly and helpful, a good place to get a non bitter coffee. It is well equipped with almost everything you could need. See pictures!!!!

I use many different Petro Canada and their car washes. This is the absolute worst one I've ever used. Brushes don't get dirt off the car, rinse doesn't get soap off the car and the dryer barely gets the water off the car. Seriously had to get a roll of paper towel to dry off the car.This site is also an unofficial truck stop with trucks blocking the air pump and exit onto Salem.

No hand sanitizer for customers. I guess new management wants to cut down expenses. Car wash is very bad. Leave the water spots all over the car.They are not even open 24 hrs.

It was fine however I was a little uncomfortable when I noticed that the attendant was not wearing his mask properly. I have complained about this place in the past for not following health guidelines so it was rather disappointing.
