Super good. Clean and products are orderly arranged. Good customer service. I believe they compete their prices with Walmart. So things are cheaper than Walmart. I love this place. Good store for South Asians.

Make sure you check your receipts …. Cashier charged me twice for bag of meat and if I am not checking and left store there is no way to proof …. This has happened before also …. Simply I can’t trust and go back again ….. no apology from the gentleman who processed the refund …. Beware Ajax location customers ….

Your one stop grocery store for all Indian/Pakistani foods. They have great customer service too which is rare for a desi store.

Good pakistani Indian & Bangali food store. A lot of middle eastern food its are available as well. They got fresh halal meat as well, chicken, Mutton and beef etc. Load of Pakistani food items as well. Back home shopping experience in Canada ?

I am regular customer of Iqbal foods from year 2000 at ThorncliffeWe moved to Ajax. I have been a regular customer at Iqbal food from the day it opened in ajaxI feel very sorry to mention my experience this morning.I was at meat section around 12.30 pm there were only 4 people working which included the owner himself. I was waiting in the pre marinated section to be acknowledged.They were avoiding eye contact as they were all busy serving other customers.When finally the owner acknowledged my presence I told him that the pre marinated packed section had Tandoori Chicken Leg marinated had a price tag of $5.49 per pound where the Sale Sign right on the top had $3.49 per pound.He said I will give you from the counter.Then he went and took off the sign which had $ 3.49 per pound and served me. The price per pound he typed was $3.99 per pound.I asked him about the price and he said they forgot to take off the sign ( sign said sale today only) and started serving other customers.I walked to cash out and after that went to customer service counter and informed the person standing there. He just said whatever Mr Iqbal said that’s right without even listening to what I have to say.This is to inform customers that the Packed Pre marinated meat may have a different price and may not be updated with the sale price tag.Not a good experience. Hope they understand the meaning of customer service and improve.

OMG!!! Amazing thing happened with me tonight as I entered as the very last customer and Ideally Saleha and Prithwi could say me No.However, they let me in and I could buy things quickly. I am super happy with their customer service as they went beyond their limit and showed exceptional service. Saleha and Prithwi you two are super stars.

Excellent customer service! When I asked the person working on the floor that I am looking for curry powder. He took me all the way to the curry powder isle. There were too many choices of different curry powders. I told him it's my first time making curry. He then gave me tips and advice on different curry powders for different types of meat. He was very patient. I was so impressed with his above and beyond customer service! Also it's my first time shopping at this store and I will be coming back many times! I just love their customer service. The store is nice and clean and is fully stocked up! But be aware of lots of choices . Plenty of parking!!! I would definitely recommend friends, neighbors, co-workers and relatives to shop at this store.

I met very rude staff in meat section this morning. I kept waiting for 45 minutes but no one attended. All staff were busy in routine stuff and kept ignoring the customers.I asked how long it is going to take, but they kept mum as if they are not listening. After awaiting about 45 minutes, I left the place.I was a regular customer but now onwards this is my last choice for grocery.

This store is absolutely amazing. I’m from Kuwait and usually the products from there aren’t sold anywhere in Canada. Today, I found KDD branded mango juice (made in kuwait) at this store. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Thank you so much. Please bring more KDD products to Iqbal, may Allah bless you all!!

Typical Asian (Desi) groceries store with a good verity of products. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.One can get mostly everything of daily use.

I was very excited when I heard the news of Iqbal goods opening in Ajax. I used to go all the way to thorncliff.The meat section has a lot of variety and it is well maintained. The store is always well stalked . The fruits and vegetables section is clean and priced reasonably. Lots of variety I different kinds of flours. Overall a good place to shop.

Very rude staff in meat section. Would not listen to customer request and act arrogantly. Also many items on sale had expiry dates very close or already past, should have been removed from shelves. The pricing is not great either, memon supermart in pickering offers better rates. Sorry to say I was a regular customer once but not my first priority to buy groceries anymore.

I generally shop at this place roughly once or twice per month and go for things that I don’t get in local walmart.A recent very negative experience i am having is wrongdoings at checkout counters… single item is put twice (that is charged twice), prices are being placed more than what is quoted at shelf - i doubt these as honest mistakes as it’s happening to me multiple times and quite frequently. Also, petty amounts for which you won’t have the energy to go back to the stores.Another thing that many others have pointed out - things are quite expensive compared to few other stores.Some positives:- good variety and quality of meat.- great variety of fishes - not always the best quality though- very good stock of Indian (south asian) groceries.- pretty good collection of vegetables - while frozen and fresh combined.- overall good customer service.- fast food items are best in the area when compared to other indian groceries.
