I like to go to Dollar Tree for a casual walkabout just to see what they have. During my last visit, I tried a few things. I found grape mints, which I really enjoyed. I also grabbed two soda drinks - blue cream soda and kola champagne - and they were gone by the end of the day.I saw a suggestion for Bad Monkey popcorn in the chips aisle, so I picked up the smokey bacon flavor. I didn't like it much; it was kind of dry. I also tried Covered Bridge chips; the ketchup flavor was disappointing, but the salt & vinegar one was decent. One thing that caught my eye was KD cheese & tomato, although I didn't purchase it. I couldn't help but chuckle at the unique flavor options available. On a side note, I did notice a sign mentioning that they were hiring, in case anyone out there is looking for a job. One other thing, prices are up to $1.75 for some items, it's slowly creeping up there.

Employee want to help but hands are tied by the manager Leanne all I can say is she is not setting up the store for success. As someone that comes here multiple times on this particular occasion came back a third time for something and the employee said they were not allowed to help because Leanne said so.Will never come back to this store as long as Leanne runs it.Last time I checked the longer something sits on the shelves the more money the company losses but clearly Leanne knows what she is doing.Wonder who they are holding on to stock for?Its not like the product was not in stock at the store they had a lot in the back as confirmed by multiple employees.

Store is very well organized. Friendly staff and they go above and beyond to help you find the items you need. They also have helium balloons.

"Manager" could not make a decision on a $1.25 item that was forgotten the day before. Scary!

AMAZING!!! I CAME HERE ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO WITH MY COUSINS. AND AFTER WE CAME HERE, WE NEVER WENT TO DOLLAR TREE AGAIN. WHY? BECAUSE THERE IS NO DOLLAR TREE CLOSE TO MISSISSAUGA. EVEN IF THERE IS A DOLLAR TREE IN MISSISSAUGA, IT WOULD BE 10-15 MINS AWAY, AND WHY WOULD WE GO THAT FAR, WHEN WE HAVE WALMART AND DOLLARAMA CLOSER TO OUR PLACE? I REALLY HOPE DOLLAR TREE OPENS CLOSE TO OUR PLACE, I WISH THAT HEARTLAND TOWN CENTRE HAD 1 DOLLARAMA AND 1 DOLLAR TREE, INSTEAD OF HAVING 2 DOLLARAMAS. AND YEAH, IT IS TRUE THAT HEARTLAND HAS 2 DOLLARAMAS, THEY ARE VERY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. HEARTLAND IS ACTUALLY A LARGE TOWN CENTRE IN MISSISSAUGA. IT HAS ALL THE PLACES YOU NEED TO GO FOR YOUR DAILY NEEDS. MCDONALD'S, TWO TIM HORTONS, WALMART, COSTCO, THE HOME DEPOT, JYSK, BEST BUY, MARSHALLS, 2 DOLLARAMAS, BASKIN ROBBINS, HARVEY'S, A&W, KRISPY KREME, STAPLES, CANADIAN TIRE, ASHLEY FURNITURES, BURGER KING, BMO BANK, D SPOT, NANDOS, GALITOS, ETC.

best deal on cat litter trays!! it doesnt get more exciting than that.Edit: it’s time that you remove those hanging plastic things infront of the registers. Essentially to get you stuff on the counter your face basically is touching it just like everyone else’s face. Then the staff often don’t push your items back close enough and there is your face touching these nasty things. Cmon guys do better..I’m sure this is spreading more germs and they look nasty and tacky.

Yesterday around 8pm we visited this new location at 163 Harwood Ave N, and it just might be our last time. We grabbed a couple items that were in a sale bin at $0.25/ea and at checkout noticed they were being rung up at $1.50/ea. When we questioned this, the cashier beside ours said "oh no it's only the expiring ones" and our cashier scolded us, saying that next time WE need to check the signs properly because if she has to void items SHE gets in trouble. I went back out and in and took a photo of the signs on this wire bin and went back to the cash to show them the signs. They responded "oh it's only the items with an orange sticker" and when I said that not a single item there had an orange sticker, they answered “it’s just these ones here” and pointed to a dozen similar items in a small basket in front of their station. I said "so you might want to fix that sign in this case" and they again rudely said that they’ll worry about that. Not to mention the 4 times we had to come back to the cashiers to make sure they gave us the correct credit. And when we came back the final time because they incorrectly refunded us, we ended up with the third cashier there, and the other one paged our original cashier over to review together. Together they went over the receipt and our original cashier said to the other one “yeah, we have to give them that credit then” and that third cashier said “nope not coming out of my till!”. So: a) these girls need serious training on proper customer service and if something is not properly marked they need to take accountability, figure that out and know how to talk to people; b) what trouble are these cashiers getting into if they have to process a refund due to error, regardless of reason? Why are they so petrified? This is unheard of and needs to be addressed ASAP.

Highly disappointed. Me and my friends come here several times a week to get snacks and drinks, whenever we come to this location we are followed and watched by several employees, they’ll have about 3-5 employees watching me and my friends with 1 person at cash, not only is this extremely bad for business but it makes people not want to come into the store. The employees at this location need to realize that not every black kid that goes into a store wants to steal, maybe instead of watching me and my friends every time we come in, you guys could be doing your job and stocking the shelf’s (super low inventory). 0-10 wouldn’t recommend????????♀️

This place is horrible, it smells like rotten eggs and all of the food and snacks are either expired, or taste stale. The workers are so disrespectful it's not funny. I am a nice person to all and yet my kindness wasn't enough for these horrible workers. The tall skinny lady with red hair who definitely needs braces is the worst. She gives attitude and shows 0 respect to anyone. She yelled at my 4 year old child and told me to control him. I am black. Whenever I go into the store I get followed around like I even want their snacks that are expired or their dirty hairbrushes that would snap if I put them in my hair. Not to mention the amount of dirt and dust everywhere. I was walking and a braid fell on my shoulder. This dollar tree is ghetto and the workers are failures who didn't go to university and can only get a job where every item isn't even 2 bucks. DONT GO HERE!!!!!! #RACISTEMPLOYEES
