I will never go to this store location again, I went to purchase sugar to make my cakes and instead of sugar it was salt that I was sold even though the sign said sugar.I went back to the store to inform the manager about what happened and was told that they will give me a $10 girl card in good nature....how does that cover all my other ingredients that was purchase? The bulk barn doesn't even take accountability on what was done. I will never spend another cent in this store moving forward. Head office is no better then there employees, when I called to explain what had happened, I was hung up on. This is unacceptable for a corporate office to be hanging up the phone on something that could of been avoided. Whoever goes into the Bulk Barn please be mindful when buying sugar or salt or anything that resembles another ingredient. This place does not take ownership of there wrong doings.

Salted shell peanut price jumped from .83cents / gm to .92 c/ gm. I am chilling on it. I spend $40.00/month But now will abstain.

I have taken my kids here many times. It is literally a "kids in a candy shop" type of place. This location is so clean and organized. The staff is very careful to keep the bins full. The young man working cash yesterday afternoon was very patient when my son took a minute to count his purchase as the items were sold by quantity rather than weight. There is lots of free parking.

Love this location. It’s always clean and the staff was super helpful during my last visit. I needed to grab a ton of things for valentines treats and the store was extremely well stocked. Every other store I went to that day ran out of red and pink sprinkles which I needed. Was really happy to find everything I needed here!

We often visit this store and know the other staff members and they are all very friendly but today we were discriminated on the basis of our skin colour; an employee named Kayla was very rude with us as we were sampling one or two items we bought. Kayla came and spoke to us in a higher tone( not how you would usually speak to a customer) and informed us about the store policy regarding sampling and we were accused of snacking around. We were unaware of the policy and apologized right away but her tone and demeanour towards us was completely inappropriate and crossed a line as we were regular customers. It was racist. Even when we were leaving store we tried to have a normal conversation, she insulted us in-front of all the other customers. We are not saying that we are not at fault. We accepted and apologized for not following the store policy but as a store manager that’s not how you treat your customers. We saw her approach towards the other customers who were ahead of us, she was very polite and greeted them with smile. We prefer this location as we liked the staff and it was closer to our place but I don’t think I will go back to bulk barn after being treated the way I was. She went on accusing us even more saying that she always sees us snacking but it was the first time we saw her . In front all the customers she was attacking us being very rude and was trying to prove that we were freeloaders. No matter what you should be respectful to your customers. That’s not customer service. All of us have at one point worked as customer service representatives and know how we should be treated. We didn’t want to create a scene but that happened multiple times during our visit today which is not fair to us that you are discriminating us on the basis of our skin colour. This should be addressed by bulk barn headquarters as employees represent bulk barn which was racist. I am sure that’s not what bulk barn stands for.I hope this is addressed and no one else has to go through that again.

We often visit this store all the time, other staff members are very nice but today we had a very bad exeperience and the girl named kayla who claims herself as a store manager was very rude with us as we were sampling one or two items that we wanted to purchase and we actually bought all those itmes. Kayla who claims to be store manager came and told us that you need to ask for sampling and she was accusing us that we were snacking around. We explained that we were just trying the items that we wanted to purchase and how it is snacking when you are just taking peice of it and sampling is allowed in bulkbarn. Also, there was no one around whom we can ask for sample so do we need go to the counter all the time for sample ?? we always purchase the items from this location. She was accusing that i always see you guys when one or two us go there rarely. In front all the customers she was attacking us being very rude and was trying to prove that we were doing something wrong ?? Is this customer service ?? Is this a way to talk to your customer ?? Her voice was too loud and since we were 4 people we were speaking very politely so that someone might think we are more people and attacking her, she needs to apologize to us or we will raise this issue to bulkbarn headquater as that girl kayla was racist and official complaint will be filed against her as you should never treat your customers like this especially when someone is polite with you treating with respect even though you are continuously insulting them.
