Y'all I come here bimonthly and have always received the best treatment as well as the most attentive and of course friendly customer service. I have been to several several locations all over OKC and the metro area but this one here? It's my favorite. I even drive nearly 30 minutes due to their consistent gold star treatment.

Today, I visited True Sky Credit Union here in Yukon, OK. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Abby. I wanted to take time out to leave this review because as soon as I walked in the door, she greeted me with a big genuine smile like a cheerleaders, and pleasent hello and welcome to True Sky.It's a blessing in this very busy world to come across genuinely kind, caring people. After we finish my transactions, she didn't just say have a free drink, she walked to the soda machine and assisted me throu the process to fill my cup with ice and a choice of a cold drink.Ms. Abbi, you raised the bar, and your pleasant personality is very welcoming.I appreciate True Sky hiring people with great attitudes and personalities and being very knowledgeable.

I am leaving one star only because I have to. I went to deposit a check today at the Yukon branch and I didn't understand why they had to put a hold on a check, but it is what it is, policy and all. The teller was training a new employee and said "we have to put a hold on the check because it is *** and just be short like I was with her and say it is policy." I was right there. When I talked to the branch manager, Chelsea, about it was rude and unprofessional, she took up for the teller and said they could say anything they wanted in front of a member while training. I cannot actually talk to anyone higher than the branch manager at Yukon. Take your business elsewhere. The employees are extremely rude and unprofessional and don't care about their members at all. I will be moving all of my accounts and loans elsewhere.

Went in to the Yukon branch to cash a check from a customer! The teller, Madison, was very professional and polite, and I would highly recommend this bank to take care of your business and personal banking needs!

Madison does a very good job every time I come in. She seems to go out of her way to assure I am taken care of. A very real credit to the credit union.

I'm writing this negative review on behalf of my mom intended towards True Sky Credit Union's Fraud department.Today, on October 17th, 2022, my mom came into the branch and made a wire transfer. Shortly after, she received a call from the Fraud department from a "Leanna Hatcher" to get some details about the transfer. My mom answered the questions Leanna asked but Leanna was not understanding or uncomfortable with approving the wire. My mom has an accent so she gave permission for me (her son) to talk to Leanna about this transaction. I explained to Leanna the purpose of the money being sent. I kindly explained to her what the reason for the transfer was. She still didn't understand. I'm wondering why she would dig for further details on a private wire transfer when she's already been given the reason for the transfer. I told her I've never dealt with this before with Navy Federal. It almost feels like my mom's word was not good enough. What kind if institution doesn't trust it's own members with a legitimate wire transfer? Is the fraud department in charge of the member's money? It's almost like WW2 Germany where you have to produce papers and reasons for doing things. Very unreasonable.I told her we would be closing the account because of her inability to trust and help a member with a simple wire transfer. She said that's fine and even spelled out her name for me so I could tell the branch in person. That is NOT customer service at all. In hindsight, Leanna should have placed us on hold and transferred us to a manager when I told her we would be closing the account due to her. I told her clearly that she is the reason for closing the account. The fraud department's job is to protect it's members, not to deem a member untrustworthy for a wire transfer. As a US military Veteran, I've never dealt with this kind of silliness at Navy Federal Credit Union. I'm embarrassed for her manager and the regional manager. The decision was made to close the account after the conversation was over. This is purely because of principle and how the fraud department's Leanna Hatcher operates.I will say that Jess and Jordan and everyone else at this physical branch are awesome and the regional manager should be proud of them. Leanna needs further training and a sit down conversation with someone in how to deal with it's members. A little compassion goes a long wag. Maybe she declined the wire because my mom has an accent or maybe because my mom is wiring money to people she doesn't know person... Either way, she was of no assistance and is a liability for a credit union like this. I'd compare this situation to a police K9 unit wrongly sniffing out drugs on a little old lady. It boggles my mind that someone like Leanna is employed with True Sky. Who knows how many others she has inconvenienced over the months or years. Maybe the entire fraud department is too uptight or maybe she's the only one. Who knows. Perhaps they actually help people, but in this case they lost a perfectly good member in an insulting way. I will be posting this experience with the fraud department on my vlogs, video updates, Facebook, and spreading it to other friends and family that have true sky.My mom closed out her account with a decent sum of money and will be doing business elsewhere specifically due to Leanna.
