The lady told me $35 for pedicure and didn’t even finish it left midway thru the gel nails I just got yesterday all came off, and I told her I wanted the nails in the picture I showed she said ok, that’ll be $45 and I didn’t even get the nails I wanted she didn’t a whole different style. It took the lady about 35-40 mins to finish. I ended up paying a ridiculous amount which was $130 for the nails I didn’t ask for. Tell me how $80 turns into $130! ????

Took my daughter here to get her nails done for our first daddy daughter dance. The nails looked ok, the edges were bare and not painted when they were finished and I paid $50 for them plus a decent tip. Well the nails did make it through the night but two days later they started to fall off for various reasons. Within 4 days they had all come off. Will never go here again.

NEVER NEVER GO HERE! My usual place was booked up and I was on a time limit so I gave here a try... Technician was switching back and forth between me and an about 10 year old girl using the same tools. The little girl had to come back in twice once to ask that the nails were shorter and the second time to just have them removed because they looked so bad. I lost hope at this point for my nails and I was on the way to catch a flight thinking it would be 30-45 minutes for a gel fill like everywhere else. Ended up being 2 hours and I left shaking about to cry.. my nails were so thick and paint looked like it was just thrown on. I asked the lady taking the payment if she thought they were good and she told me I must be from out of town. When in fact I have tried every place in town to know that I will never return to here. Place needs shut down.

They are trying to run a scam. I took my teenage daughter there to get her nails done and paid for her services on my credit card that I signed the receipt for before I left. When I came back to pick my daughter up, she had told me on the way home that they brought her that same receipt, had crossed out the amount, wrote in a new amount and insisted she sign it. It's my credit card and they had her sign her name. She is 15 years old and can not legally be held to any contract, and that was illegal for them to change the price after I had signed for it. I am heading up there now to get the difference as after calling them they told me to come get it. However I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs in our town, because the authorities need to know about their shady business practices. We will never go there again, but I would love for everybody to stop going to Star Nails so they will get shut down because they are clearly trying to scam people and charge credit cards more money after the fact which is illegal. They are not friendly and act mad whenever you deny extra services. They need to be forced out of business.

Came in two hours before close and were the only people in the salon. Each of the three of us got the same thing (gel manicure) but only one of us got lotion/hand massage. Jobs were VERY rushed and ended up peeling off after about a little over a week. As we left staff walked out too (despite being an hour before close) and pretended to kick us out of the door! Obviously they didn’t think we could see them. I will NEVER be back and would advise others to not waste their money there. If I could give zero stars I would.

I went to this place before covid,thought I would now try it again. I was the only customer there. She hurried through everything, was extremely rough, dipped my nails only twice, never talked, no arm massage and then charged $45. Within a week polish was cracking and chipping off and my nails themselves are breaking off.Service: Dip powder

I shouldn’t walk in first place, there was No customers inside and I thought that was odd,Old angry guy and a old lady was there very rude and not understanding English, Got Fungal infections from this place.Service: Manicures

I went for a simple gel manicure and the lady was rushing for whatever reason. I didn't really feel welcomed. She didnt seem to really care and wouldnt let the gel coats cure fully before adding another coat on. She also didnt even actually do much of the manicure part (making the cuticles look nice, and all that), making my nails even, barely massaged my hands and arms afterwards. Also, when she did the top coat she got it all over my fingers and didnt make sure to really clean it off before having me cure it, so i had some clear gel cured onto some of my fingers until it peeled off about a day or two later. It's definitely not worth $35 and a tip if you ask me. I wouldn't recommend this salon.Service: Gel manicure
