I can’t wait to be done with BOK. I’m pulling all my accounts as soon as I can. They avoid personal contact and customer service at all costs. It’s impossible to talk to anyone at your local bank and when they leave messages, they give you call back numbers they don’t get answered. When you get a hold of an express banker they can’t even put you through to a person at the branch you’re trying to get a hold of someone at. This is not how you treat your customers. I will say, when I go into my bank, I’m am treated well but it’s very often I can get into the bank during business hours so I need to be able to do business over the phone.

Went to get something notarized but they didn’t have one there this Monday, short staffed. The gentleman that let in the safe deposit vault was very helpful, he even made several copies for us.

This review will prove that a business can destroy their reputation with someone with just one action.I was a customer for many, many years. About 15. During those years, with very few exceptions, I was happy. However, ALL of that changed with one person. I lost my job over the summer and am currently trying to get on disability. I had been receiving short term disability payments, but there was issues and I had to fight to get a decision overturned. It happened, but within the few months that I wasn’t receiving a check, we had gone into the overdraft. It wasn’t something I wanted to do, but we kept our home and the lights mostly stayed on. I had zero intention of closing the account because I had been happy for a long time. Well, the check is finally coming, so I went to the app and to my surprise, my account was closed. No call. No letter. No email. No warning whatsoever. I called and the Expressbank line and was sent to the Enterprise group. I can’t remember her name, but I’m sure her name is in my account. Apparently, if your account is overdrawn for 60 days, it’s closed. I had no clue, or I would have tried to do something. I asked why I didn’t receive any kind of notice or warning and with ZERO empathy, said it was my responsibility to know. How I was supposed to know, without being told, is beyond me. I was in tears because I haven’t received a check since august, and I have kids to take care of (not to mention it’s almost Christmas, and two of my three have Dec bdays), and the back pay is critical right now, and it’s being delayed again. This lady should not be in a position to talk to the public. She was vague with any information, rude with her delivery of vague information, and like I said, she lacked empathy. During the call, she said my account was too new and they didn’t have the information so I called the next day. Imagine my horror when I had to talk to her again. Still no information but I decided to let her know that I felt like, as a longtime member of the bank, I felt like a phone call or an email letting me know that my account being closed, shouldn’t be too much ask. I also mentioned that $1000 in overdraft fees in 4 months seemed excessive, also. You shouldn’t be surprised that I had to inform her that an ounce of empathy would have gone a long way. Here we are, a few weeks later, and I still don’t have my check that more than covered my overdraft. I need an account for when I get on disability, and for any other short or long term disability payments from my insurance, but because of how this has been handled, I don’t know that I would go back to BOK.

We were very happy with our service. Everyone was very helpful and took care of our needs promptly. That was refreshing since our experience at the banking facility we can from was frustrating. Thank you.

Not satisfied with the bank as a whole. The people that work at this location are good people. Why don't they keep bankers hours 9-5, I have to take off work to do my banking this makes me crazy. Plus they don't have the capability to print me one temp check with my account number on it, but when I opened the account a couple years ago they gave me 3 temp checks with the account printed on those? Today people don't typically write checks any more, but I have to write just one check and can't seem to get it with the account number on it!! I'm just a little frustrated as to why doesn't a big bank have this ability it really makes me wonder about their other abilities like is my money safe.

I got a loan with Bank of Oklahoma a couple of months ago and the process was pretty good a didn't take that long to do. That's the only reason I gave them 2 stars. Since the loan was made I have made three payments and I have to say this bank has made the process of making payments so hard it's ridiculous. You have to have an checking account with bank of ok to even make a payment online or on the app so you have to call them. But don't call any of the branches because they can't take payments over the phone. How antiquated and difficult do you have to be? The only place you can make payments is calling the bank express line and right now it's a 20 minute wait or actually go into the bank. Really!?... wow, it is extraordinary how difficult it is to make a payment with them. You would think they would want their money back in any possible and easy way for the customer.

The people are friendly and helpful. However, it is impossible to call the bank. They do not publish a number that anyone answers. So if you want to speak with anyone at the bank you are out of luck.Update - I appreciate that BOK responded so quickly with concern. But the fact that they want me to reply to an email named "socialmedia" pretty much validates my comment.
