Terrible experience, I tried to rent a truck and the lady Sue Johnston wouldn't let me rent a truck without telling her how many rooms my house had...?? I told her the amount of rooms my house had wouldn't help anything because I only have 1 room of stuff the rest of the house was empty and that I just needed a size of the trucks that were available, and she seemed to get upset but then said okay what truck would you like...? I asked her what sizes... again... where available, and she laughed and proceeded proceeded ask me how many rooms my house had. I said i just need a sized truck I don't know know I'm having this issues rn, she said that's not how it works, and wouldn't do business with me at all at that point. Said she was done an hangup. So I even drove up there and have an entire video of this lady not wanting to take my business. As far as I can tell because I wouldn't tell her how many rooms my house had...? She Wouldn't tell me why she wouldn't do business with me just, kept saying i ain't doing it, and shut down like a complete child. I am sick and tired of people being so ununderstanding and rude. Hope the business owner does something about this, Terrible place to do business with if this lady Sue Johnston has any ownership of it at all if you ask me. And then the owners of this property act like she did her job... If she doesn't have patience to take phone calls she shouldn't be taking them. I wasn't rude, didn't yell, couldn't because I had covid for two weeks and still had it..., didn't curse or swear in any way... She just didn't like how I needed the size of the truck for what I needed moved...instead she insisted that I rent a truck based off how many rooms in my house I had which isn't what i.rented the room room I explained... that only one room has stuff it in...yet still... if I didn't tell her how many rooms my house had... then she wouldn't rent one to me? That's doing her job? Without helping a customer find what they need or meeting there needs for call even though I was doing everything I could to work with her?The fact that the assm that responded to this prior to my edit, and thinks that she did her job... exactly the way she was supposed to!?? Is exactly why I won't do business with companies and people like this??

The manager was very rude. I purchased a few items on Facebook from a lady from the storage facility next door. I requested a 10' truck & needed it right then since the lady was waiting on me next door. I was told no 10' trucks were available. Since I only needed a 10' truck, I requested the price match for the next size up but was refused the 10' price. The manager offered to see if 1 was available elsewhere but I didn't have time to go to a different location to get it. I had to get a larger, more expensive "15' truck" that was really only 12'. I spent another hour in the parking lot after the return online with customer service to voice my complaint. The manager would not check in the truck to complete the reservation until I drove away since she knew I was on with customer service. Directly after I drove away, the truck was checked in and the order was completed. The customer service guy (who tried to disconnect our chat since he was unable to credit an article reservation) was finally able to start the request for a credit of the cost difference I was initially refused. 2 out of 5 Uhaul rentals in the last 2 months have been a disaster. I guess I was expecting a higher level of customer service and support than I received on several occasions (6) & was sadly disappointed each time.

I was so impressed with the woman that helped me. She noticed details and took the time to sort everything out, nicely! She needs a raise or a fruit basket.

Reserved a spot online after seeing the billboard right out front of their location that first month was half off. When I went in to complete the rental the “manager” said we don’t do have off first month and we haven’t done that in months. So I pointed out the billboard sign in their parking lot and she basically shrugs and says we don’t do that. What?!! Then take it down from your billboard and while you’re at it hire a manager with a personality and some customer service experience! I went two doors down to Public Storage and got first month half off no problem and they didn’t even have it advertised!UPDATE: So the owner responds to my review stating that they acknowledge they no longer offer the any unit first month free price and acknowledges they are “actively “Trying to get the sign changed that’s out front.Well,One has to ask…..as a business owner how hard is it to change a sign that’s right out from of your establishment offering something you no longer offer????Furthermore, a 12 month guarantee?? Who needs that?? Your competition has you beat all the way around with price, and customer service!

Sue Johnson has poor management skills and is a sad human being. Dont waste your time and energy conversing with such low-level people. I just feel sorry for anyone who has to deal w her on a daily basis.

My family accidentally left a dolly in a u-haul that we were supposed to pick up the next day. Come today my girlfriend goes to pick it up, the lady at the front desk argues with her and proceeds to withhold it. Telling her to she’s not going to give it to someone “acting like that”, and needs to call someone else for it. Mind you my girlfriend was acting no way over a simple dolly. She then proceeds to go back up there after leaving and my cousin calls at the same time. The lady told my cousin that it wasn’t her that did any of that and we finally get the dolly. Then when she talks to my girlfriend again says we are never welcomed there again and never to come back. OVER A DOLLY. Please do better.

Lady at front was gatekeeping a personal dolly and was refusing to give it up because she did not want to give it to someone who was a "stranger" even though she was already informed I would be there to pick it up. After a lot of trouble, and a lot of phone calls I was able to get the dolly back. But she proceeded to be rude and say we were not welcome back there and to never go back. Even if I could go back, I would never return to terrible service or to a place where they would act like that over returning something that was not theirs.

Extremely rude staff. Our property was withheld and told that it was already given out to someone who wasnt us. When my wife was speaking with the on site manager she was told she wasn't who she says she is and that she had to call a different number to call "her" and when she still spoke with her about it she was told that we were never allowed back on site. We would never want to do business with someone who is okay with speaking with people the way that she did. The manager is now TEXTING us causing more issues. Wouldn't even give one star.

My friend was met with an attitude and reluctance to hand over a personal dolly from Sue. The same dolly that was discussed over the phone and where it was said that she was coming to get it. Sue was then called again about the dolly after she had already left the building. She was given back they dolly with the same attitude and a ban
