We're lucky to have one of the best dollar stores in the area at Velma. It's fairly well stocked and the people are pleasant. Many of these locations look like you just missed the announcement for the apocalypse. The aisles aren't full of stock pallets and unshelved items. It shows they are at least interested in being there. I appreciate the employees for that.

The local manager has taken personal vendetta on a person in out town and has denied this person the ability to shop in this store because of a personal reason. She even called the police on this person to be removed from the property. She is taking her authority to a new level!!!!

Not sure where "this guy" was shopping at but it sure wasn't Family Dollar in Velma. We are open every day at 8am. If the doors aren't opens by 8am our DM would know. We recently had several inches of ice and then snow. We still opened on time! Lazy we are not. Store is ALWAYS cleaned and stocked to the best of our ability. Of THOUSANDS of reviews one person had a negative review and it's the only one without a name attached...seems a tad suspicious. Thankful for the honest reviews!!

Family dollar is a great place a one stop shop l, if you will friendly faces and great customer service, they do need to do some re stocking though
