I was with Verizon for over 10 year. I was very happy with the phone service. The customer service however was a completely different story. The last couple of years consistently digressed. Anytime I changed something on my account the customer service would add things to my account I did not request. I had to watch my bill very closely. They would try to sell me things I already had as well. They would cancel the service I had and put it back on again.I finally became so upset I left and went to another company.They only canceled some of my lines, however they charged me a full month of service for 5 days of service and said it was my fault because I did not personally contact them but had the new company contact the, instead.They closed my account where I could not access it said I did not have an account anymore but kept charging me. When I talked to them they had kept charging me for 2 of the addon lines. They refused to credit my account saying I did not call personally to cancel them.Wgen I called customer service I got a recording that it was after hours and I needed to call during business hours. It was between 6-7 pm.When I tried to chat it would not let me because I was not a customer.To finally talk to someone I had to call in like I was trying to purchase service. I was then transferred to customer service. I was very excited to speak to someone that I could understand, only to be frustrated because of how hateful they were!That’s when I was told they had charged me until the end of my billing cycle after I had changed service. The first one would not listen to me and was raising her voice at me. In all fairness I raised my voice back asking her to listen to me. I requested a supervisor at first she did not want to do it, I was placed on a long hold. When the supervisor got on I explained my side but she was not willing to listen. She said she was trying to explain it so I could understand it. Since I’m not stupid I had no trouble understanding what she was saying.I was being charged for 26 days that I was not receiving service for plus the extra for the 2 services they did not cancel. The math did not add up. I doubt the person I talked to was actually management.Even for someone that was an excellent customer for over 10 years, someone with 3 phone lines, and 3 other lines of service they would not do the right thing.So who is there to fight for the rights of the consumer?Is there none in Verizon willing to wright a wrong?UPDATE: I emailed a VP’s office, the next day someone from their office contacted me back. After almost 2 weeks of phone tag and emails the situation was resolved.

TERRIBLE customer service. We just switched phone carriers. Verizon was so expensive, and ridiculous to try and get ahold of the right person. We are also saving over $150 a month for the EXACT same plan we had at Verizon. Sad, we were Verizon customers for over 10 years. Service has also taken a nosedive downhill.

Iam less then one mile from you at the small truck stop and my internet on my tablet keep going out and can only get 2 bars!

Horrible! Their financial department is rude and they don't accommodate hearing impaired people. My friend had to call several times to get someone understanding to accept her with her assisted phone call.

This is the corporate finane hub for Verizon business. As a corporate office, this is not a location for wireless phone questions or assistance. There are nearby wireless locations for that however.
