If you're a professional you might want to go somewhere else. Nice store. Lots of guitars but nothing spectacular. I came in about 15 minutes before closing time. Asked to look at a mustang bass. Pretty much got ignored. When I finally got one plugged in, some kid started wailing arpeggios on a piano so I couldn't really check it out then was informed I had about 10 minutes

I had a great experience selling on consignment. I thought the fees were fair and they were very transparent breaking down how the final check was calculated.

Sold me a b-stock guitar advertised as “brand new” on Reverb. When I called the owner, Trey, to address the issue he doubled down saying that “a guitar doesn’t stop being new just because two people pick it up in the store”. Once I realized he was not interested in doing the right thing I ended the conversation. I sent him the Reverb policy which clearly states that items which were floor models are classified as “b-stock”. Full refund received, but very disappointed in the business practice. I wanted to keep the guitar anyway, but it’s a lot of money to give and not get what you paid for and I figured the next guy might feel that way too. There are better dealers out there, I suggest you find one.UPDATE: Reply to Trey's response on this review. Get your popcorn.Trey - I agree let's be factually correct. Let me also clarify a few points.RE: "I don't have a problem owning a mistake and rectifying a problem"You still don't seem to understand that an opened and especially a floor model guitar is not a new guitar, and that is not a matter of opinion. This contradicts your claim that you don't have a problem owning a mistake. Even in this review, you make the (frankly ridiculous) excuse that most dealers consider guitars like new cars. That's an interesting philosophical discussion to have if you like, but it is completely irrelevant to the fact that you violated the classification protocols of Reverb, the platform that you sold the guitar through. Whether you feel that way or not is not the issue - by using Reverb you agree to use their system so that buyers like myself know what to expect. Also, don't most dealers also use Reverb? Should we notify Reverb they are all lying?RE: "I offered you a partial refund to rectify the situation...which you accepted..but not until (after) you berated me on the phone and online while I remained calm and offered an explanation and a solution"I was very calm on the phone until you responded to having sold me a b-stock guitar by first blaming your employees, saying something about not knowing who shipped it, and then stating that the guitar was still new despite the fact that it is objectively not new. You offered me no resolution on the phone, refusing to acknowledge that you had sold me a b-stock guitar despite describing it as b-stock, and I ended the conversation after yes, I admit it, raising my voice. The only thing you offered me on the phone was that I could request a refund. That is what made me angry and when I started yelling. I responded "I know I can request a refund! And you'll pay shipping on it too!" I then proceeded to explain to you that I wasn't calling for that - I was giving you an opportunity to take accountability and that I saw you weren't going to do that, so I ended the call saying "If you do business like that you won't have a business much longer". Remember now? The only offer of a partial refund came a day later in a message through Reverb, which I responded to by explaining that I wasn't concerned about money or accessories - it was a matter of whether I wanted to do business with someone like you. I slept on it and decided I didn't and requested a full refund. We can publish our conversations here if you want to continue to be transparent.RE: "You failed to mention this guitar was sold to you at a significant discount off the retail price"Ha! Buyers take heed! This vendor seems to think that the agreed-upon price has bearing on whether he should be held accountable for conducting his business appropriately! Trey - you should sell guitars for a hundred dollars apiece - then you can just send them a toy guitar and say "You can't be mad at that price!" I'm glad we're having this conversation publicly.Now we're being honest. I can do this all day.

Dropped my tube amp off to get repaired end of Jan this year. Was told it would be a bit before they can look at it. Checked back end of April and they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. Left it there over summer waiting for a call back which never came. Called about a week ago to check on it and they told me they threw it out after trying to contact me. Show me the call log and I'll drop it, but I know a voicemail was never left. The number I called had one entry in my phone's call log, which was my April call to check in. Was told it might be at another shop trying to get repaired but he didn't think so. When I called this other location he thought a few amps had been dropped off in June from this place, but it wasn't there. That gave them 4-6 weeks for them to look at the amp and get back with me before trashing it. Now they're dodging my calls. Why wasn't my amp taken to this other place to get fixed? Why was it trashed? It was a 50 year old Laney amp that I've had for almost 20 years. Feel like I'm owed something. Same amp used is $850 + $250 shipping. Leave a 1 star review if you agree

I brought in two of my guitars to Tulsa Band & Guitar for a restring and setup. I had just bought a new (to me) LTD EC-401. I took it to guitar center for a platinum setup (which took a month), and ended up with problems that weren't there to begin with (which they blamed me for). Left guitar center and immediately went to Tulsa Band & Guitars. They re-set up my guitar, fixed guitar center's mess ups, and had me in and out within a week. They even called me and asked about what type of music I intended to play, so they could set it up to best suit me. They are extremely friendly, knowledgable, and about 1/4 of the price as guitar center. Great people, service, and prices. Thank you Trey, and the other guy (didn't catch your name) for setting up my LTD and Fender Strat!

Bought a violin online using thier eBay store. There was an issue with the instrument and when I tried to communicate with them, they ignored all of my communications. I was forced to file a complaint(also no response), drive accross town and pay for repairs, and was finaly reimbursed by eBay after weeks of no response from this business
