Ethical vets don't offer toe amputation/declawing for cats for anything other than serious medical need. Period. The vet here openly offers it as a service, at a price that makes me doubt adequate pain control for this AGONIZING procedure will be included, or education about the long-term consequences. Also, one of the employees is INCREDIBLY rude. I needed a prescription cat food that was out of stock at the other stores. She was very curt when I asked where the prescription food was, and insisted on verifying the prescription before she would even point the way. The food is right on the shelf available for people to pick up, literally every other pet store I have EVER been to will gladly show the way. There was no need for her to do this. I just wasn't used to the store's somewhat odd layout. I gave her the scrip, figuring it didn't matter, it would have to be done either way. It was a scrip for a new food, so it needed to be set up. Normally it takes five minutes at most to do this, especially when the cat and I are both already in the Southern Ag system. It took at least ten minutes, and she looked incredibly annoyed by having to do it. She greeted no-one who came in, despite the door being right beside the register. She then stomped over to the scrip food, pointed it out, stomped back, and when I followed her back to the register, assuming I would be helped since I had waited in line and was right behind her, I was sent to the back of the long line at another register where THAT employee proceeded to take all my information again, apparently having to set the scrip up a second time, which took another ten minutes. She came to help him and was mad about that, too. It was infuriating. I don't know what her problem was. Edit: All of that happened in 2021. My boyfriend was also treated very rudely here early this year, 2024, by what we think is the same woman, when he came in and asked about an item that isn't stocked at that location. I don't know what her issue is, but I am not going to this location anymore. The other stores are very nice, staffed by nice people. I don't know why her behavior would be tolerated unless the individual store has a toxic culture overall. Give this place a miss.

Staff unfriendly. Acted Iike they were doing me a favor when I asked them for help with selecting a type of dog food. Tried to make me look stupid.
Amazing in this day and age that a retail brick and mortar establishment is unfriendly to people who want to spend money in their store.

I love this place! They are the only place I could find my cat’s prescription wet food by the can. A huge savings for us. The staff is nice and the store is clean. It’s a little expensive but it is quality product!

I've always preferred the smaller, more personal feel at Southern Ag over the big huge pet stores. Lifetime customer!

What a fun pet supplies shop im Tulsa. It has pet food, toys, and all the accessories you could think of. Plus it's got some cute swag for animal lovers: puzzles of cute animal pictures, animal ornaments, themed rubber ducks, so many socks with animal prints, and more. They even had a pet photo booth station that was setup new years themed!! So darling. Great place to visit. And you can bring your dog.

Not sure who is in charge of personality hires over here cause the ones working at this location lack any zeal about their jobs.
Walked in and asked the cashier where the shot clinic was....she could have been way nicer. Went to the shot clinic....gentleman that checked me in was awesome the women back there, not so much. The lady at the pay counter seemed as though she could give two craps less about customer service and spoke to my dog instead of me.
The vet was the cherry on top of this visit....she took blood wo a tourniquet as my dog bled, I asked for a cottonball to dab the blood. Her answer "I cant bend down that far." I didnt ask how far you could bend lady, I asked for a cottonball to help comfort my bleeding dog.
I wasnt told the results of my dogs tests, instead I was dragged around the store to the register and guess he passed bc I can now spend 200$ on meds. The kid that rang me out asked nothing of my shopping experience and was in the biggest hurry to get the transaction completed. No eye contact, no "did you find everything you were looking for?"
This was our first time coming to the Harvard location for the shot clinic....we will not return.
