1/5 stars
I made a cologne purchase about a month ago that I’ve had some time to reflect on and I would like to share the experience with potential shoppers here.
The story starts in middle may when I visited this Utica Square location, slightly before opening hours. Despite this I was greeted warmly at the door and invited in, after which I made a beeline to the goal of my visit, namely the men's fragrance section. I found a friendly salesperson who quickly moved to assist me, despite perhaps not even being on the clock yet. I asked about multiple CREED scents and he gave me successive sample strips. I asked about coconut base notes and he suggested VIRGIN ISLAND WATER, which I absolutely loved. He said that he was out of stock but offered to make arrangements to notify when the item would be available. He even joked that he could make a travel sample from his personal collection. He was the height of helpfulness and I said that I would come by again in a week to check.
I returned after about a week, in late may, and asked an unfamiliar salesperson about the same Virgin Island Water fragrance. I was told that the stock had not yet replenished and that a fuller size could not be had. I was offered a travel size instead. I am used to buying travel sizes so I was immediately open to the idea. I was then passed off to yet another employee who began preparing the order. This second saleswoman gave me some instructions concerning refilling at the end of which I wanted to make sure I understood how to operate the spray function. I asked whether i would press on the top to spray she said yes and then sprayed the item into the air multiple times, wastefully and away from both of us, to demonstrate.
She then packaged the phial into a proprietary Creed travel container, placed it into a bespoke Creed bag, and told me the price. I am used to buying travel sizes and have found price points between $25 and $50 depending on the quality etc., but I was certainly not expecting the roughly $105 price tag I was charged. The salesperson was an attractive female and I, a male looking disheveled and sweaty in exercise attire and already feeling out of place in the store, felt that it would be gaûche of me to ask about cheaper options, like simply using a plainer travel sprayer, like those that can be found at other Creed sellers like FragranceNet, instead of an ornate Creed-branded one. So I sheepishly completed the sale and quickly left.
I love the scent I tried and I truly wished to buy the full size had it been in stock. But the experience I had when purchasing the trial really lingers as a negative experience and, perhaps because I am an uninitiated shopper at Sacks Fifth Avenue, still gives me pause concerning their brand impression.
Sephora and FragranceNet are trustworthy retailers and have given me much better value for my money so far. I will continue to shop with them instead and will encourage others to do the same.

I recently purchased a Mac Duggal cocktail dress on June4th on line for 698.00...763.27 with tax. There was only one dress left in the size I needed. The following day on June 5th, I received an email for a sale on the dress...$50.00 off for each $200.00 spent which would have saved me $150.00. When I inquired about a price adjustment I was told I could not get one. I would have to repurchase the dress which would involve returning the first one for a return charge of $9.95. I am extremely upset and disappointed in Saks Fifth Avenue and their customer service. They do not care about customer satisfaction. I would have used the $150.00 to purchase shoes for the dress. Now, I will no longer shop at Saks.

Chelsea in beauty and fragrance is amazing. She is so knowledgeable, gives samples without pressuring. She is patient and really knows her stuff, makes my shopping experience when I am in town very pleasurable. This last time we met Kate who was also very friendly and helpful. I only shop for fragrances at Saks and I am never disappointed by my experience. Thank you ladies for always helping a girl find her scents.
Tip for fragrance lovers: the best way to find your scent is to wear it on your person for a few hours.

Really looks pitiful here. As far as luxury stores this is not what I expected. Looks like one of the small town Dillards. They completely closed the top floor (i was curious what was up there) and everything is very scarce. Just a cramped little store with very few options. I was not impressed. I am not a Tulsa native and where I live it's somewhat close to get to Dallas area. more used to Dallas-Frisco area luxury stores like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, and North Park they are way better! So much better looking, lots of space, and high end as well as more staple items. I didn't think any of this stuff even looked good, very gaudy. My aunt informed me they used to have housewares and other home things. She also told me this was the must luxury department store you guys have. The Woodland Hills mall doesn't have a Nordstrom or Neimans. She was wanting a Lancom cream and we almost walked out but found the tiny Lancome counter shoved in a corner. Our backs were basically against the wall to see it. And they didn't have the full line of Lancome products and didn't have what she wanted. Left empty handed. I have even seen Dillards and maybe Macy's (though not in recent Macy's quality) that look better than this department store. Really going down hill and looked sad and pitiful. I was curious because I had never been to a Saks, and expected to be thrilled by the luxury goods but this was just boring.

First, I went looking for a dress for a wedding and it's impossible to find anything. They never have anything. everything is very limited. When you enter you will realize that there are many staff eager to serve the public. Nobody goes because you never find anything. Second: after going to buy a gift (because I have no option in this small city) they offered me to wrap it as a gift, and my surprise was that when my friend opened the gift in front of all the guests, she had the tag with the price attached. What a shame. is this fair?

The worst experience I have ever had shopping. That store is stuck in the 1980s, and the prices are not worth the product.
