A nice collection of refurbished/re-created displays of Rt 66 history. Plenty to see as you wander around the property - train engine and cars, various vehicles, gas station, giant oil derrick, and a huge Rt 66 sign. There is a building there but it was not in use, looks like it's available for events. Plenty of parking, lots of photo opportunities and hardly anyone there, worth the stop.

It is a historic village about two hours from Oklahoma CityI had the opportunity to experience the history of TulsaOn display here at the Open Air Museum, you can experience Tulsa's beginning by viewing the vintage railcars, trolley, historic pump jack and boarding a fully restored caboose and more. The tallest oil Derrick in the north America is historical and worth seeing to meI also touched the steering wheel of an old bus with wooden interior seats. If you like picturesThere are many places to see and take pictures.AlsoTulsa's latest attraction on the famous road of all times

The Route 66 passport said it was open during the week but it wasn’t. Double check the Facebook page for the times they are open before you go. We just took pictures outside.

This was such a fun stop! We got our Route 66 passport and stamp, and they were so kind to take group photos of us. They were so friendly! There are lots of photo ops here for some really fun, cute pics!

Stopped on a Sunday around lunch time and all bathrooms were locked (inside and outside). I thought it was going to be a cute rest stop but we couldn’t enjoy it as much without bathrooms. :(Great photo ops for kiddos.

The train engine is really is well preserved. Amazing, the technology and industry that was involved in building these magnificent machines?

Fun little stop for a couple photo ops. There was a gentleman on site repainting. He was nice and it shows they are trying to keep the property in good shape. There are a couple of historic trains and other vehicles, a little service station, and bathrooms. I didn't spend more than 10 minutes here. Wouldn't make a special trip, but a neat quick stop if you're going along Route 66 in Tulsa.
