Hours: Payton's Corner is a lost gem known for its excellent food, including some of the best burgers people have ever eaten. The patty has a tasty crunch and the cheeseburgers are delicious. They also offer good burgers and fries, along with goodies in the hot case like a great sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and jalapeño sausage roll. The biscuit is crispy and flakey. The store is clean but a tight fit, with not too many places to sit. It is best visited during slow hours. Service is friendly and professional, though not fast—be prepared to wait for your fresh-cooked food. The welcoming smell of burgers on the grill fills the store. They have Stubborn Rootbeer on tap, which is a top root beer. It's a definite stop for hunger and quick needs.
