I only give "5" reviews unless a business is so horrendous that it deserves a 1. Unlike ANY other location in the nation, Payless at TUL has a strong tendency to charge customers a $450 cleaning fee. So, I will NEVER EVER AGAIN rent from Payless. You rip a customer off, you lose business.

Hubby rented car for short work trip - was charged $450 for cleaning fee. Claimed there was an excessive amount of dog hair. We don’t have a dog. Got the charge taken off then several weeks later they charged our credit card the $450 anyway and claimed there were cigar ashes in the car. When questioned again, they refunded the cleaning fee from our credit card and told my husband “next time we won’t do this for you.” Trust me, there won’t be a next time!!

Terrible experience between the hidden fees and the inconvenience of service and addons that caused my rental to almost double in price from the estimate. Will never use this service again.

I reserved a full size truck and received a very nice 2023 Silverado, which is what I was hoping for. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will rent from here again.

Awful rental experience, reserved an intermediate car, received a 15 passenger van. When I spoke to the manager requesting a discount or at least to pay the rental fee that would have corresponded to the vehicle I requested, I was ignored. This is the discount version of Budget and I will NEVER rent from them again.
