Twice Midtown Kia has provided my family with an awesome vehicle! We loved our first experience and this second round was no different!
Alyssa was the absolute sweetest person! She was knowledgeable, willing to hang out and just overall wonderful. She didn’t push the sale and was willing to ask any and all questions I threw at her during the deal. While I will cherish my new baby for years to come, I’ll never forget who I worked with that made this happen!

So it's going on three months and i still my car haven't been fixed. I get the run around and excuses. They didn't have a loner because they proclaimed they didn't have any even though I saw someone bring theirs back. So I'm going from rental to rental that they won't pay me back till maybe 60 to 90 days, and the check supposed to go to the business for me to pick up. I don't trust them . They had already lost my keys, and I had to go to kia to find out because the service manager sure as hell wasn't picking up my phone calls, nor was he returning them my calls to let me know anything. So I've waited 3 months now for my car that's never been worked on, and no one cares because it's not them or their family members, and you're just a number. If anything happens to my car next time, I'll go to another Kia because they are not it.

I had dealt with Midtown Kia for over a year as they continued to have me pay for new parts and dropping a grand in a turn up alone saying this would help me with some recall Kia had for oil consumption (causing engine failure) and I was constantly putting oil in my car because of this. I went to them in September 2023 then November 2023 then again in July 2024 when they said I was no longer Eligible for this “engine replacement.” They said my car was needing the whole engine replaced and quoted me 10k to fix my car. 6k of that being the engine. I then got a second quote from a different Kia dealership and it was discovered I had an oil leak and that it ruined my spark plugs and ignition coils and midtown kia never once mentioned the oil leak. They just said to let my car died cause I have paid almost 2k in parts that would make me eligible for the engine replacement. My new quote was over 1k and my car is now working fine. Midtown Kia is a very unprofessional and a greed driven business that takes advantage of people who don’t have any knowledge in cars. I would never suggest this place to anyone and anyone who does go to them, get a second opinion.

Horrible customer service I brought my KIA up there two months ago after calling for over a month with no answer or response, finally talk to someone named Dallas. He was very rude and then hung up on me. They try to charge me $1400 without even fixing my car talk to the general manager. He told me that he wasn’t gonna pay my bill and the problem might be that the bill hurts my pockets, well that’s definitely not the case but this place is super unprofessional horrible leadership and I would never come here again. You guys are a disgrace to the Don Thornton group.

I had a great experience with midtown KIA service department. They were super nice and respectful to me. If/when I need more help in the future I'll definitely be back to see them.

Unbelievably terrible customer service after the sale
I traded in my old vehicle and bought a new one from them on 7/20. They paid off my old loan on 8/15, almost four weeks after the fact. The old car payment came out of my account on 8/12.
When asking for an explanation and/or someone to call me about it I was ignored and left to the side. I feel like things would be much different if they were out money but since it’s just returning customers? They will be fine, right?
Funny how much things change for dealerships AFTER they get their portion finished.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE.
Will not recommend them to anyone.
Update: spoke with sales manager and he offered me a tank of gas (I live in OKC so that would be pointless) and said not much else he could do to help.

Kia service department is horrible, specifically Jarred and Ron. I went last week because my battery light was on, and AutoZone reported that my alternator was bad. After Kia refused to fix my alternator and reassured me that my car was fine, my alternator went out completely a few days later, leaving me stranded without a car. Subsequently, they fixed my alternator and admitted that my battery was bad as a “sole result” of my alternator not being fixed sooner. Ironically, my 2022 vehicle was just outside of the battery warranty, so I owed over $400. Kia’s failure to address my alternator when I first brought it in resulted in my battery going out. Despite Kia’s own failure, they refused to cover my battery. Unacceptable. You have lost a lifetime customer over $400 and as a result of Kia’s failure to take accountability for its actions and refusal to fix my alternator when I first asked.

very hard to get ahold of who you need to when you need them. finance director was EXTREMELY condescending and rude. general manager screened calls multiple times, sometimes taking over a week to respond personally or have am salesman update me. lost the tow bill after assuring reimbursement, then while I was still going to keep business with them I was told the tow reimbursement was not on the table since i wasnt buying from them, glad they made the decision for me. I bought the car and when it broke down 20 miles from the dealership. went nearly 2 months struggling to get to work since no one would call me back on rental reimbursement. solid answers are important, don't promise what you can't provide. Don't buy a car here, this place is full of children who will screen or block you when you need them. 07/2024still have not received any reimbursement for the tow bill, horrible dealership. go to kalidy kia or boomer

UPDATE: Appreciate the response Kia. You asked for my contact info, here’s how to contact me; go to your files, locate my name which appears publicly in this review, then call me. To confirm the right file just in case there are 2 Barrett Hird’s who are extremely disappointed, I bought a brand new loaded Kia Sorento and my cell ends in *5686.
My 2021 Kia Sorento (purchased brand new from the dealership) was having issues with its sunroof staying closed. It took 3 months to fix. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental for the first month. It took me throwing an “adult fit” to receive a loaner vehicle from the dealership for the remaining two months. I left messages regarding the status of my vehicle on a daily basis and never received a call back. It was only after I reported this to the Corporate Kia Complaints Department that I began hearing from this location. I’m not one to write bad reviews, but this experience has soured my view of this particular dealership. The vehicles are great.

Worst dealership ever. Won’t return phone calls, sold me a car that has issues. CarMax said there was a GPS installed but it was not in the car. Terrible company and I will never set foot in that dealership again.

Car was bought in Dec of 2021.
Car buying experience was great no major issues.
However getting service done seems to always be an issue. Recently my wife had to wait <3 hours for an oil change. Even after the mechanics were done servicing the car my wife had to wait 30+ minutes just to pay.
If you don’t mind waiting extremely long time periods for your car to be serviced this place is for you!

I encourage you to look at these reviews. There are many good reviews on the sales side because they want to get cars sold and out the door. But, all the reviews about the service department are horrible. My daughter had one of those 1 star visits with the service department. A service tech admitted that it was their fault that an additional item failed on her car but they refused to make it right. I even called and spoke with the service manager and one of the floor managers, Kayla. They assured me they would look into it and give me a call back the following day. That was 3 weeks ago. I even called back and left a message with Kayla to give me a call to see what they found out. Haven't heard a word. The Kia vehicles are good vehicles and this dealership will be kind and cordial during the buying process but, if you ever have to go back in and deal with them after the sale, or deal with the service department, all I can say is Good Luck. This dealership should definitely attend a course on customer service.
Edit: Just counted and when you look at the 15 newest reviews, 13 of them are one star. If I was the general manager I think I would be trying to figure out why and be making some changes.
