I went in to settle some payments for my daughters' daycare and received a notification that my check had bounced due to fraud. Upon further investigation with the daycare, I discovered that I had received the incorrect checks, which had another person's name. I feel extremely embarrassed and frustrated.
Now, I'm facing late fees, and the bank has informed me that they cannot do anything to rectify the situation. This error by the bank was significant, and I'm definitely not coming back.

MidFirst Bank is excellent. This location has the absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced at any bank in my life. It took over 5 minutes for them to get my cash withdrawal in the drive thru lane. How long does it take the average adult to count 8 bills? About a minute per bill?? I had to leave the drive thru because it took so long. I called and let them know. When I returned 30 minutes later I waited over 5 minutes in the drive thru lane before anyone even came to the window to acknowledge me. I will avoid this location even though it is one mile from my house. I will also tell other people about my experience locally.

Bank is terrible to work with from a technical standpoint. People are friendly and helpful, but onling banking, mobile app, is practically useless. Very limited on what can be done, and often have to resort to inperson to just get statements or account details they do not provide online. Everything is very delayed in posting to account, and account details and even seeing balances isn’t well displayed.

I purchased a cd and I can’t go on line to see the monthly interest payments they are so far behind other banks that show monthly interest income. I would have bought more cd’s but I like looking at my monthly interest bill up reports.

I found Midfirst to be very inconvenient. They have policies that are not very client friendly. During my time as a client, I found that they had high overdraft fees, not enough ATMs, a fee for using an ATM that isn't theirs (so 2 fees each time adding up to almost $5 for each use), they required me to come to a physical branch during covid while I was pregnant to reset a password, and to add to that I had to come in to cancel my account since they refused to put it on hold or keep payments from coming out, which resulted in quite a few fees. I tried to pay those fees and add money online, but I couldn't do that without coming in either because my account was overdraft?! You'd think they'd want it to be convenient for me to put money in if my account was overdraft. At the end of the day, I went in, paid the damage, and closed my account because I was tired of all the little inconveniences throughout my 5 years of having an account through them. There are just too many options out there with more conveniences. If I were rating the employees, this review would be 5 stars because they were always pleasant and as helpful as they could be, but I'm rating the banks policies, and that is definitely a 1 star.

What happened to this location?! Poor customer service coupled with outrageous private bank fees overdraft fees (that can't be waived or protected against). Be warned!I've been with Midfirst for 13+ years and am appalled at how I was treated at this location..the same location I originally opened my account at all those years ago. The teller was dismissive and unhelpful alongside her manager who was also less than friendly and helpful. Midfirst, remember your customers or their wallets will forget you.
