Not friendly, said they were having a sale, no sale. Cheaper prices online. Generally disappointed. I can see why it's never busy there.

Sales guy too pushy. I get it, they have to make a living, but I felt uncomfortable toward the end of my visit. Sales guy wasn't consistent with what he said. I caught a couple inconsistencies while he was answering my questions. Might have just been an accident on his part but I wouldn't know. I finished looking at everything i needed and said i'd be back to buy a purple bed after i talked to my wife, and told him i was going to check out another store. He told me I wouldnt be able to find any bed at another store because they carried every brand and they're apparently the biggest mattress store in Oklahoma. Not sure if he meant to come off rude, but the way he said it and his tone definitely came off rude to me. I asked about Nectar and he said I wouldn't like it anyways. (Of course because they didn't have it). I was planning on coming back to buy a purple bed after i talked with my wife (even after my bad experience), but I went to a different store and found the exact mattress I was looking for that Mathis did not carry.

So disappointed with the experience with Mathis. The sales guy was great, we thought it was a great pleasant experience. The delivery was 3 hours past the delivery window (we understand things happen though), but the delivery team smelled like weed, so much they left the smell in our house afterwards. They messed around with some wires for the base for about an hour until my husband YouTubed how to do it and did it himself. After all that they delivered the WRONG bed. A hard one which made my back injury worse + the adjustment period, it felt like I was sleeping on a floor.
After contacting CS they were insisting and dismissive that we got the right bed. After sending the measurement (3inches difference) + factory tag we stopped hearing from them. Tried to contact them, got hung up on once then after finally reaching them they told us we have store credit to change the bed. We went to this location again and another sales man pretty much just hid in the back room after we explained what happened. We ended up going to the other Mathis store in Tulsa, the other manager there was also dismissive unfortunately . Luckily we got a fantastic mattress expert and another great sales guy that helped us finally find our bed, the finance team was great too. They used our 365 days return package even though it was their mistake but I just wanted a bed to help with my back pain at this point. So it will be about 4+ months before the bed adjusts to the softness we want since we bought the bed. Thought I'd share this experience with others with back pain and injuries that need better and faster service.
Oh yea not to mention the base has YET to work. 2 visits from a technician and they cant do anything. So we cant even elevate the bed as we hoped.

Awesome experience! No pressure and let me look at leisure. It was better than going to the big store having salesman rushing to get to you for their sales. Can’t wait to get the new bed set up!
