i just wanna share my story to see what you guys think. so last month i had been looking for job, i was currently employed and planned on quitting whenever i had found another job. i applied to sephora at kohls, they got back to me a few days after applying asking me to come in for an interview. mind you.. the day i applied for the job there was a question on the application asking if there was anything that would interfere with my hours and i put that i had evening classes so my availability was limited during the weekdays and open on the weekends. it was a part time job so i didn’t think it would affect anything.
anywho i came to my interview the day of and sat down the manager, we did all the interview questions then she brought up my hours/school, i told her what my hours were and my availability. her whole attitude changed once i told her i couldn’t work evenings but she never really said anything about the hours i had told her. a few days later i got an email to come back for my “first day/orientation”, i did just that and when i got there it was different lady that was gonna go through it with me, she seemed a lot nicer and not uptight, she also mentioned my hours and availability and it seemed like there was so no problem.. while i was there i realized i didn’t have my ssn with me, the lady said it was fine and to come back on monday . so on monday i came back and the original woman who had interviewed me was there , she went into the office and i had waited a few minutes outside waiting to start my orientation until she came out and was asking me about my hours again, she started with “so you can’t work evenings?” i said not during the weekdays yes but i’m open to them on the weekends. she said “okay let me check something i think i messed something up on the schedule” she left and came back 5 mins later telling me that they’re looking for someone who has more open availability and that it isn’t gonna work out for them. so now i’m left with no job and it’s been really stressful . it might not seem like a big deal to some people but making someone think they’re gonna have a job then switching up last minute is unprofessional..

I've been out of State for over a year and the nearest Kohl's store was too far to drive and shop in person. I enjoy looking at and feeling the texture of the garments and hats I buy. It's good to be home in Broken Arrow, OK and just a couple of miles away from my favorite Kohl's store, where I receive excellence throughout my shopping experience.
Missionary Edna Osborne,
Faithful Baptist Mission. Of course, we buy our towels for the mission from Kohl's.

My recent shopping trip to Kohls went great! The sales associate, Sadaf, was very helpful and checked me out so quickly and efficiently!

Extremely rude employees. They told me I can't take the cart in the changing room. I had 20 dresses to try. I asked "how am I supposed try these on if I can't take the cart in?". The answered "you can go in and out one at a time". They did not offer any help or try to count the number of items I had like in other stores. I have shopped in Kohl's for 18 years. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Not sure that I will be back to this store ever. Either change your employees or retrain them. Yelling at people and being zero help is not the way to attract customers.

Returning to store to pay $50+ of an item that wasn’t in the receipt. With my honest intent of paying but customer service’ was unpleasantly said that I didn’t pay for it. What an accusation! It’s their cashier’s neglect and fault, not mine.
I have honest and good intentions but accused as if I’m a shoplifter? Kohl's, please train your employees. Honest people are traumatized and may not come back.
