The manager is really great,she's professional,friendly and courteous. I really appreciate her help so I don't lose my things since I got behind due to a car accident! Thanks so very much!! I highly recommend this storage place. And I am NOT a previous friend or relative of the owner or manager, and was NEVER asked to leave a review...I just believe in leaving a review, whether it's positive or negative for others considering any business I go to! Because I often go by reviews as well!

Not only was the entire unit covered in rat urine and feces, but when I arrived back at the office where "the nice staff member" was located to drop off the key to the unit, the lady didn't even acknowledge me. When I asked for my license back and set the key on the counter she proceeded to throw my ID onto the counter and continued with ignoring my entire existence. But sure, if that's what you call helpful and kind, I suppose she was. Having people write false reviews just to try and cover up the real and true reviews is the shadiest business practice I've literally ever seen. Disgusting place of business and the staff new or old are NOT kind and helpful, as much as their friends in the review section would like you to think. Store your items here AT YOUR OWN RISK. I know I won't make that mistake twice. ESPECIALLY since they had been charging us extra for months on end when there was supposed to be NO rate increase at the time we had been renting the unit. If you are renting a unit here and have been paying more monthly since around July or so, You should know that they have been stealing from you for months. I would certainly call and ask them about this!!!!

I have had storage here for almost 3 years. 1st they changed the amount of monthly rent without notification to $12 more a month, after renting there for 2.5 years, for a bathroom sized storage unit! The 2nd was when I went to place more items in the storage while in town, I opened the storage and there was rat feces and urine all over all of my belongings. Everything has been chewed up and covered with rat droppings. I had an inside unit free from the outside elements and was ensured they were vermit proof when items were originally placed in the storage. New management has dropped the ball and I will no longer be keeping my belongings in this storage facility!!
UPDATE: I called the storage facility per requested in response to original review, and spoke with the lady that answers the phone at this location, to discuss the rate increase and the rat issue, only to be told it was someone who was keeping food in the units and that I would be getting a call back regarding the extra money I had paid for several months. I have not yet had a return phone call from "the owner" per the secretaries response to my phone call. I see several new reviews from folks not actually renting there, but still no response to fix the issue of the ones who actually were. Especially the ones with stolen money!! The secretary that set me up on auto pay was the new staff member that was charging me also for the rate increase and never bothered to fix the increase that was done July of 2023 up to the day I moved out on Feb 1, 2024. A $12 increase for all those months and nobody is accountable??

I'm response to the last review I know they are in the process of tending to this. It should be fixed soon. What I really like is the new woman at the office
. Friendly helpful and goes out of her way to help. She keeps the units clean and things fixed. You should go talk to her about your problem.

They have a rat problem at the Peoria location, when I informed the front desk they told me they could do nothing about it and I was on my own. Everything has rat poop and urine on it. They chewed thru bags and all clothes and shoes are ruined. I’m not talking mice, these are huge rat droppings. Total lack of concern on the owners part and horrible customer service. Stay far away from here if you value your stuff. Disgusting!!! You should be ashamed.
