Filthy, disorganized store. Trash on the floor in every aisle and scattered around the bathroom.

Said they had the item in stock online. Went, out of stock. Asked a worker to check in the back and she said it was in the back but they didn’t have anyone to work inventory. The store needs to hire employees. Didn’t see 1 “now hiring” sign.

Update on my original review, my online pickup order randomly got cancelled so I went into the store and finally got to speak to an assistant manager and she went out of her way to dig out the yarn that I need right before closing. I didnt catch her name but I am extremely thankful for her. I still believe the store could use more people but at the end of the day corporate is in charge of that.
The store was wonderful when it first opened, now? An absolute disaster. The employee hours have been cut and staff have been cut as well, and it's obvious. Yarn isn't getting stocked when it's delivered, the fabric is disorganized. Have to wait around for an employee to help you, only to never have someone show up. It's unfortunate that the store has been managed so poorly, I hope corporate can fix the issue but I'm not holding my breath and I will no longer be doing business with Joanns. I won't be surprised if this store location goes out of business this year.

The lady who cut our fabric was WONDERFUL, cutting extra to make sure we got our full amount, since it could have been (and was) cut un-evenly! The place was organized and clean with PLENTY of variety to choose from! Overall, we will be visiting again soon!

Only one cashier, at noon, on a Saturday, who couldn't figure out how to process my gift card and my coupon.

Only one cashier. Long line,
Other employees putting fabric away. . . cutting employee hours is never a good business plan. One of the major problems: If people would stop their kids - and teenagers - and THEMSELVES from vandalizing by opening paint and dumping puzzles the employees having to clean up slip and fall hazards could concentrate on customer service.

Service at the 71st store was absolutely awful and the store attendant was very unpleasant.

Customer Service doesn't know where Tulsa is or how to spell Oklahoma or about Patterns brands!!! You can't find this information online if they are on sale and don't call the store cause it transfer to a person who definitely doesn't craft or sew. The store is so disarray and under staff, but at least they try their best to help. Why let the mobile cart go outside! Last time I had my hubby bring it in from the rain! Vince was nice to dry it off for me!! There is only one and sometimes I wait and that's fine but in the rain !! Then there will be none!! Offer to get a person to help take the stuff outside and retrieve the mobile cart to inside.

Got what you need. However, be prepared to spend at least 20 minutes in checkout. Every time I've been in here, there's only one, very slow and very elderly checkout person who moves slower than molasses. In Joann's store, where fabrics lie, A checkout queue that never dies. The cashier's old, with smile so sweet, But oh, the pace of snail's feet!Twenty minutes, tick-tock-tick, She moves so slow, it's quite a trick. Each button pressed with care and thought, While customers' patience is overwrought."Need help, dear?" she asks with glee, While I stand, wishing to flee. A yarn, a thread, a button pack, Each scanned as if time's on slack. Her stories long, her movements slow, In Joanne's line, time does not flow. A charming lady, yes it's true, But oh, the queue grows as she coos.So here I stand, in fabric land, With items clutched in sweaty hand. Dreaming of a speedier day, In Joanne's line, where slow's the way!

I looked online and saw they had 8 skeins of yarn in stock and I was able to order online for same day pick up by 3pm or I could go in store and get them myself. However, once I got there the yarn was nowhere to be found. So I went to ask a lady for help and ? 1: she did not greet me when I approached her, so I said “Hello, I am wanting to know if you could help me find this yarn?” As I’m talking to her and trying to show her the yarn on my phone, she doesn't look or respond to me and proceeds to say hi to my dog and try to touch him. So I pulled him away and put my phone in her sight. She then says “ok it should be over here ? somewhere.” I tell her I have looked there and did not see it. So she then gets on the radio and asks someone about it BUT gives the wrong info, so I try to show her the correct information and she put her hand up while I was talking. VERY DISGRACEFUL AND DISGUSTING. Eventually she gets someone else over to help me and she walks off. The next person was somewhat nice but still did not want to do his job and help me find what I had driven 45 minutes for. Instead he just suggested I drive over an hour to the next store to get what I wanted or wait about a week for them to put their shipment out. THIS IS AFTER HE CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAD THE YARN I WANTED IN THE BACK ROOM AND IT WAS RECEIVED 12/21/23, which had been over a week. So I said to him “ Sir I do not want to drive that far or wait that long, I drove 45 minutes here today because it says you all have it. Also I could have ordered online and picked it up today.” He then just repeated himself and slowly walked away. So I placed my online order so I would pick it up the next day (today) just to find out that my money was taken off my account and my order was cancelled! And I have to wait to get my money back! JUST WOW! I tried calling corporate but they did not answer, I tried calling the store 5 times and they did not answer. So I called from another number and what do you know, they answered on the first try…. I spoke with a manager and she said she will try her best to resolve the issue and make sure I get the yarn I am wanting. So now I am just waiting and praying I can get the yarn at the very least considering the trouble and mistreatment I’ve had to go through for it.

The new location is AMAZING. I'm so glad it's competing with Hobby Lobby in the same parking lot as well.
