Very simple process! You can adopt an animal from here without having to jump through hoops. They are taken care of and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They even give you a coupon for a free health checkup! ♥️

I adopted a dog from here that became aggressive towards my family and I had to bring her back which broke my heart. Instead of being understanding they went on social media and publicly shamed my family for bringing her back and lied about why we did. I have been in the vet industry for a long time and have a long history of taking care of animals and finding them good homes. I will not adopt from here for fear of being shamed by the people that work here. They are highly unprofessional, dishonest and judgmental. It’s a shame because the dogs they care for deserve better.

So easy to find the right pet companion, just asked sex, age, and characteristics wanted and they knew which cat matched.

I'm torn in two directions with this review. On one hand, the employees are extremely kind and have helped me find resources for stray and lost dogs many times. On the other hand, they adopted out a sick cat to me. She was skinny and they said she was healthy, just needed to put on weight. This wasn't true and after 3 weeks of her eating less and less, her fur falling out, and her becoming lethargic and depressed we brought her back. They wouldn't pay for her vet care without us surrendering her, which I felt was unfair as she was supposed to be cared for BEFORE we took her home. I believe she was actually euthanized. This was 5 years ago so hopefully they're better now, but I wouldn't feel right leaving that out of my review. If you need resources for your pets or strays, they have a big resource binder and will help you find vets or rescues with open space so give them a call.

Understaffed, called multiple times to come pick up a stray. They said they only have one person on staff. This poor dog is probably freezing at night. They still haven't done anything about it and it's been more than a week.

I adopted my beloved German Shepherd, Ziggy, from the Humane Society of Tulsa, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff and volunteers deeply care about their animals. Ziggy was well taken care of during his time there, and it's evident in his health, behavior, and affectionate nature. The Humane Society of Tulsa provided Ziggy with a safe and loving environment where he had access to proper healthcare, socialization, and training. The dedication of the staff in ensuring the well-being of their animals is truly commendable.Ziggy has become an integral part of my life, and I'm grateful to the Humane Society of Tulsa for bringing us together. If you're considering adopting a furry friend, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this organization. You'll not only find a wonderful companion like Ziggy but also support an organization that genuinely cares about the animals in their care. The staff were truly lovely and answered all my questions. I highly recommend the Humane Society of Tulsa

The Humane Society of Tulsa helps match you with a pet that needs a forever home. They have specials where you can get free food, vaccines, microchip, and spay or neuter thanks to some of their generous Sponsors. They also are always looking for volunteers. So if you have time and want to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals go spend some time with them.

I got my dog neutered by them & I had to take him to the vet because they didn’t give no pain meds /antibiotics for my dog ! He was bleeding and swelling & his stitches were opening ! The day I picked him up , he had no cone nor did they offer me to purchase one . The discharge papers was just a piece of paper that had “ neutered “ on it ! I can’t believe they go around offering free spay & neuters when they don’t even care about the animals . Basically just cut & dumped them . Now I’m suffering with all these vet bills to get him fixed & to make sure it doesn’t get infected ! & I called their help line a million times & of course nobody calls back
