Reserving a car online, Hertz had the best deal on Priceline. The booth is an easy walk from the gate, but when I got there, a sign directed me to the parking garage. There, two employees were helping customers. The woman helping me was NOT friendly and a little snobby, but alas. I got my car within five minutes. Easy!

The Hertz rental car location at Tulsa International Airport deserves the title of the worst Hertz airport location anywhere. With a poor selection of high-mileage, poorly maintained vehicles and significant staff shortages, customer wait times are unbearable and completely unprofessional. This operation is a disaster in every conceivable way and should serve as a cautionary example to other Hertz outlets on how not to run their locations.
The management is utterly incompetent, leaving subordinate employees with no opportunity to improve their situation. I will go out of my way to avoid this location in the future. Furthermore, this site services other Hertz brands as well, meaning customers from different rental agencies are also left to navigate the short-staffed desk, which is absolutely ridiculous.

Waited for one and one half hours to get a dirty car and no car seat that I requested. Reservation was made online so it should have been seamless. Not. Was told there was a computer problem. Was then told I needed to go across town to get the car seat. Tried to call any human to cancel the car seat. No one answered. Phone at Tulsa International just rang and rand even though the website said they were not busy. Terrible service. If I could give Hertz a negative one star I would.

Got a suv thru them turned out the vehicle has a lot of previous damages took pictures and sent to them. When it's time to return it I was told to file a claim for damages that I'm not aware of. The company keeps calling me to make me pay for the damages. Be very careful when rent from them I know I won't ever rent from them anymore

Hertz recently sent me a fraudulent bill claiming damage 6 months after I rented their vehicle! Although I drove from point A to point B without incident. No indication of any issues at drop off to employee of Hertz. Incredibly disappointing, I would highly recommend not using this car rental company. If you do be careful as they appear to be coming for your money.

I’ve never waited this long to pick up a car rental. Over an hour! This location would greatly benefit from adding extra windows to the small kiosk! Extremely understaffed and not prepared for flights of people coming out to pick up!

Returned rental at this location on 7/27/2024 at 4:24am, on time, and left the key and rental agreement in the drop box, as instructed. I also noted the return time, gas level and mileage, as instructed.
Got an email receipt today 7/28/2024 at 14:21pm, and they processed the return only today at and charged an extra day. Tried to call this location and they don't answer the phone.
I have a video with a timestamp and pictures showing I returned the car yesterday, on-time.
Opening a case with Hertz to get a refund for the extra time they charged. I also have supporting evidence (pictures, videos) of the return being done on time, in case this needs to be escalated via BBB, the state or credit card company.
Reading the reviews here, I'm definitely not the first one to whom this happened.
I'd suggest Hertz to audit this location for compliance and for issuing an incorrect receipt. Will update this review to give updates on the resolution of this issue.

Idk what is wrong with the old man at the customer service and why he's got to be so rude to everyone. I had to exchange my vehicle midway and it cost me my money and time. The vehicle popped 'oil maintenance required ' and as per roadside assistance I had to get my vehicle exchanged . When I talked to the guy while returning the vehicle be said it's factory settings and roadside assistance has nothing to do with hertz. Also he mentioned ' roadside assistance people are not from the u.s so they don't know what they're talking about '.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I rented a car on a Tuesday and returned the car for a 5 a.m. flight on a Sunday (5 days later), on the day I was set to return it. I left the key in the Hertz key box as I was instructed to do. I never received an invoice, so yesterday (a week later), I requested one. I received an invoice and charge for a return of the car today (eight days later than I actually returned it) and the charge is ASTRONOMICAL! Avoid, avoid, avoid. Now I have to wade through the paperwork of disputing the day the car was returned. Amazingly annoying. Switching to Enterprise as soon as I get this mess sorted out.
EDITED TO ADD: A week later, and I still have not received a response from Hertz in spite of submitting four requests for them to look into the bill. I have now raised the issue to the Better Business Bureau and Oklahoma Secretary of State.
EDITED TO ADD: Hertz has now refunded the amount that I was overbilled.
