“I can’t say enough about this place. Excellent selection and prices,(even during “bad times”). The people, especially Jerry are American reloaders and hunters like me. They are all very knowledgeable on what they sell. It’s a bit of a drive but I’m thankful I have a go-to place for reloading supplies! Please stay in business!”

“Great staff. A few days ago, attended Mark Wolf's OK permit training class, coming away more prepared to respond on skill, emotional, and situational levels to something I hope never occurs (I have training from another state before moving home, longer than OK maximum three year period allowed by OK permit purposes). To the benefit of all, Mark's style has strangers interacting with others early in class. I came for reciprocity, leaving with much more including the importance of professional training and regular practice. My sense is the training staff is much in the same mold as Mark. This was just a start; will add next level professional one on one, and returned this afternoon for self guided practice at 2A to build on what Mark taught. It wasn't all business though! It was fun to pop a bunch of rounds off at the bad guy in the bib overalls paper target ( EDC & BUG 9mm and 45 Sigs and Kimbers) ! 2A is more than a range. That said, my only recommendation would be to increase the depth of the lane wall separators to reduce the amount of brass discharged from adjacent lane striking the next shooter over. It was pretty constant. In store stock of firearms, ammunition and accessories is very good. Did I mention the great staff ?”

“I had a great experience with this shop in the past. Online ordering made super easy. Great friendly people here. I just placed my second online order with this shop. Can't wait to try my new Howa Mini action!”

“Took in a 30-06 that I thought wouldn't feed properly. The GS advised me it was a Mauser action that always needed to be loaded by the magazine. Boy I felt stupid. Very knowledgeable, honest and friendly, would recommend”

“Unusually honest, competent, honorable people. The difference between the grossly underpowered 45-ACP and the .460 Rowland is immense. However, even my infinitely beloved 155 cm (~5'0"), 42 kg (~95 lbs) wife can shoot it without any difficulty. I am an old, USMC Vietnam Colonel, retired Professor of Plasma physics and Quantum Electrodynamics (QED), 200 cm (6'7"), size 13 hands, so it is a little pop gun to me. Even my .460 S&W Magnum and .500 S&W Magnum with heaviest loads are no problem, but being well into my 80's and very badly shot up in Vietnam (being the Chief Scientist for the CIA, while being so damned tall and big (135 kg or over 300 lbs), with a high price on my head by the damnable Chi-Com, I unfortunately seemingly attracted every bullet, mortar bomb, artillery shells, etc., I am sadly really feeling my body going to hell on me.Regardless of me and my fantastic wife, I strongly recommend the Glock M41 with an aftermarket cut rifling fast twist so one can then shoot your own cast bullets using cheap .45-ACP auto cases and do lots of practice on targets, then running rabbits and the incredibly destructive ground rats called ground squirrels. The longest barrel available makes a huge difference in muzzle velocity using the appropriate powder for the .460 Rowland. While the 45-ACP is limited to only 25,000 psi, loads for the 460 Rowland can go to 40,000 psi, which is maximum level for the strongest. 44 Magnum loads, or well beyond anything listed in the damnable Lawyer controlled load manuals sold to the massive number of Girly-boys we now have in America, because of the Rothschild's Communist control of American Femi–Nazis so overwhelmingly dominate here in America, most of western Europe and more. Please do your own homework on the maximum loads possible with the 460 Rowland. The problem that you will have is the very limited powder capacity of the case. Such is why the 460 S&W Magnum can achieve so much more power than the 454 Casull. Case capacity. I even have such troubles with my 8.6x70mm (.338 Lapua) Magnum, my 378 Weatherby and 416 Weatherby Magnums. Case capacity. I use longer, much heavier barrels than any factory barrels and much faster twist. The factory management is >125 years out of date with respect to the enormous advantages of faster to much faster twist on the rifling. Also, insist on 5R rifling — nothing else. Much faster twist and 5R rifling. Only. And longer, heavier to much heavier barrels. My MTU profiled 30" barrels for my Lapua (threaded for an oversized suppressor), as is the 378 Weatherby. The 416 Weatherby Magnum does not require such a long barrel as the expansion ratio of the 416 is sufficient to adequately burn all available powder within a heavy 27" bull barrel. An oversized suppressor is most definitely necessary for both recoil reduction and blast management. The 460 Rowland desperately needs all of the barrel length one can give it. The velocity loss in short barrels is, in my opinion, learned from experience in shooting longer and shorter barrels with the same loads through a chronograph is stunning. In physics, upon which all sciences depend, the additional length allows a greater amount of time to puch on the base of the bullet. This then allows the handloader to select a more energetic, slower burning powder to then maximize muzzle velocity.”

“Lots of selection, and the prices are good. I’m only giving 4 stars because while the wife is always very nice and helpful, the husband is always rude. I wonder if he knows that the store wouldn’t have anyone in it, if it wasn’t for her”

“I walked in as a complete novice and frankly nervous to purchase my first firearm.Andy and Richard were helpful and informative, and made me feel welcome! I never felt like I was being rushed or talked down to. For about an hour they helped me build confidence in making a selection and didn’t push me to make a purchase. They were able to help other customers while I did paperwork and shopped, a sign of a well run store! I would certainly recommend this store to anyone who is looking to make their first firearm purchase.I’m a satisfied customer and I’ll definitely be going back.”

“Mark and Tim are great to work with. They always have a great amount of product in stock and better prices than the other places in town. Save yourself a headache of dealing with the other guys and get way better customer service at Advanced Combat. The Tommy Trigger line they carry are really good triggers for AR's and Ak's.”

“I just took the class on learning how to handle a firearm. I’ve never touched a gun in my life. I learned how to hold a gun, clean a gun. I was even fitted for a gun. I learned handguns shooting a gun. By the end of the class I had hit the required target 5 out 5 times and I’m a woman in my 60’s. I highly recommend this class.”

“Pretty great group of guys. Out of the norm for Tulsa. Like a gun shop your daddy took you to when you were a kid with good folks helping you out with your purchase. One of my go to shops from now on.”
