What a terrific gem of a store this is for us to have here in Tulsa. So much selection of quality gear and if they don't have it, I'm sure they can order it for you. The staff is great and very helpful, especially Kyle.They have a great sales room, BTW.Please frequent this store because we need to keep resources like this going in our city. If you love the outdoors, you'll come to appreciate the store and the staff.

No one was very nice. Small things like offering gift box for the person next to me but not us. Greeting the person behind me but not us.They must get paid poorly.

Kyle the store manager gave outstanding customer service to me yesterday. I've been impressed with Kyle's growth though his years of employment at GearHead. His knowledge of products is impressive. His customer service skills are 5 star.Hopefully the owners Ted & Amanda Herget realize they have a diamond in the rough with Kyle. He's regional manager material.

This store is a mini REI right here in Tulsa. ?You're going to find avant garde brands like Grayl & Nemo as well as mainstays like MSR, Patagonia, but don't be surprised if you can't find Coleman lantern mantles or Eureka tents... They're more on the high dollar end than the family car camp place, but the goods they have are worthy of being in your kit. Be sure to shop the bargain bin!

First time going into the store, was excited to see some of the items that they displayed. However, going in for a specific sun hat with solid brim. Only to find that they were suspended in a canoe from the ceiling and not accessible to look at or Try-on. Not very good customer service, or display oriented for their products. Very disappointed.

Went in here for some very specific items I needed for a gift and they had such a fun selection! I was with my toddler and they were so sweet with him and patient. It was our first time in and definitely won’t be our last!!

This is the store I go to buy both my hiking shoes and boots . They always have a great selection and Trevor is always a great help when I’m there . All the goods and gear you need for your next hiking adventure . My favorite store in Tulsa ??

Although they did not have what I was looking for in stock, Brandon B. helped with finding the right shoe and getting the right size. By the end of my experience, he tried nearly four different ways to get me what I needed - this customer service is beyond excellent. His patience, hospice, and knowledge helped me get what I needed! Blundstones are on order!

First time going to Gearhead and what an amazing experience! If you are looking for a place that has staff that is friendly, knowledgeable, nonjudgmental and experiences in exploring the outdoors, Gearhead is the place. As a former Backwoods patron, I like many, we’re deeply saddened when they closed. I was referred to Gearhead and was amazed how professional, personable and knowledgeable the staff was. I had the opportunity to work with both Elizabeth and Tyrone and they were amazing. It was like having my best friend/outdoors guru shopping with me. They were both knowledgeable of the products and listened to understand my needs rather than listen to respond and try to sell me something I didn’t want or would not use.Gearhead, you have gained a loyal customer and I will definitely let my fellow adventures know about your store!Side note: please hire Glen who used to work at Backwoods! ?

Stopped by mall area and found this great store. Looking around and found a large selection of ON footwear. Always wanted to try but afraid to order online due to size issues. Bought a pair and did not like the feel. Spoke to Jack on phone and he said I could return them. Got a different OC style and love them. Staff was great, very friendly and knowledgeable.
