I am completely speechless looking at the prices on their website. BEWARE! I rented a car for 3 days. Returned the car on time, absolutely spotless and full of gas. I was charged $1309. They have over 100 PAGES of complaints with the BBB. I can see why!

Worst experience of my life I will never book with this rental company again they don’t make it clear you need a major cc rental was booked on my debit card! No customer service no manager on site and never got my rental management does not call back or follow up. Wish I would got the ladies name at the front desk so was quit to brush the issues I was having with the company and very rude and could care less. I will gladly tell everyone I know this is the worst rental company!!!!!!

Do not EVER rent a car from Dollar Rental Car. They are the worst. Their practices are unethical and they screw everybody! You will always be charged at the end for WAY MORE than you agreed to pay in the first place. After I returned the car I was charged a total of $535 over the agreed upon price. After much negotiation I am getting refunded $417.03 but that still does not equal the $535 I was overcharged! I have rented cars a few times in my life but never saw billing done the way this company does it. After all was said and done, I paid almost $900 to rent a car for 3 days. And they are not consistent with their customers. As I'm reading other reviews there are so many discrepancies. Like one customer stated they had to provide a receipt showing they filled up with gas within 10 miles of the airport. Fortunately, they did not require that of me. Why one person and not another? One reviewer stated they needed a major credit card. Fortunately, again, they did not require that of me. They have over 100 PAGES of complaints with the BBB. I repeat, don't ever rent a car from Dollar Rental Car!

I travel from Houston to Tulsa. I arrived around 10:00 am had a reservation however no one from Dollar was there. We were directed to go to Hertz, only one employee and about 10 customers. Hertz employee was friendly. However the vehicle we were provided with was extremely dirty, dog hair everywhere, car floor was disgusting. I will not recommend Dollar Car Rental, terrible

Arrived Saturday afternoon for our reservation. To our surprise they were closed. No heads up or nothing. Had to book with Budget because they were the only ones open. Do yourself a favor and BOOK WITH BUDGET!

Called repeatedly all day. They don't answer the phones and hang up on you when you let it ring too long. Can't even get to renting so that's a 1star at best for me..called for 8 hours.

Do yourself a favor. Don’t rent from them. They give you the best rate online, but then tag on a lot of surcharges and hidden fees when you return the car. Customer service is very rude.

So I recently rented a vehicle from here. First off, the oil change light came on as soon as I got the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle the staff acted as if I needed to get an act from congress to get a copy of my receipt! I’m so glad I waited. Two weeks later they tried to charge me $114 dollars for fuel after they noted on my receipt that I returned the vehicle on full! Good thing I keep my receipts because I also had the receipt from the gas station so show that I refueled the vehicle! If you take your chances of renting with these folks KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!

It was okay for a last minute rental car but I would not recommend it. They nickled and dimed me for fees that I never read in a small print and I am still fighting over it.

This is a scam. Beware. You pay for a reservation, then when you go to pick it up they will tell you they are out of all cars you had reserved. Then they will give you a better car. After you return it and leave the place they will charge your credit card again and claim they gave you an upgrade. You will not be able to resolve it by calling them. I did not believe the other reviews before booking and ended up losing $178.21

It's very easy to get a rental vehicle however most of the time they only have one person working so the line sometimes it's pretty long

Dollar at Tulsa airportThey charged $500.00 and I did not get to rent a car. I was told to call the phone number that the agent gave me. I was put on hold for over 45 minutes gave up. It turns out the I disputed a charge and won with Hertz and was put on a Do Not Rent list.Ref. Hertz fraudulent over charge on 6-17-21 at Seattle Tacoma airport.I was charged for Loss damage of $203.94 plus tax. I did not request this and I was never advised that this charge was being added. I did not initial the Loss damage box on the contract. When I complained about it to the manager at the Seattle airport, I was told that they would review the security tapes and reverse the charge. This never happened. I tried to called customer service and was put on hold for 45 plus minutes. When someone answered, they hung up.Update. I disputed this charge with my credit card company. Here is Hertz response: Continuation of this claim would mean the account would be sent to collections with Hertz and that you would be placed on the Do Not Rent list.Do not rent from Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty. They are not ethical companies.

If I could give them a zero I would. Every aspect of our recent experience with Dollar was horrible. Two hour plus wait at the airport, overcharged afterwards, and when we called to deal with it (after a 16 minute hold) we were told "their systems were down, please call back tomorrow." The executives of this Hertz subsidiary are overpaid and not very good at running a company that rents cars to people. Avoid Dollar like the plague. What a disgrace!
