The experience I had on 4/22/24 at this Cricket store was unbelievable. Been
happy with Cricket's service thus far, but was incredibly disappointed when I went to let them know that my phone had been lost (or stolen) and to find out what to do next. A young lady named Stephanie waited on me, I told her that my phone had been lost and the only thing she asked me was, "How much do you want to spend for a new phone?"
I was so upset that my phone had been lost, that I just chose a phone, got the accessories she offered and left the store; having had my number ported to the new phone she sold me. I was unaware that she had missed about five steps that would have saved me a lot of money ($300 or so) after talking to my friends about the experience.
I had stated that my phone had been lost or stolen. She didn't ask me if I had insurance on the phone, didn't say she was sorry that I was going through this situation, offered NO help to locate the phone, Just said how much money can you spend?
The answer to that is like most people's would be nowadays, $0. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and every penny counts. She even charged me an upgrade fee of $25 to purchase (for full price) a new phone and did not inform there was an upgrade fee. Why an upgrade fee when there was no phone to upgrade? Do you charge new customers and upgrade fee when they come in start service? I should have paid more attention at the time of checkout, but was just relieved to have a phone again. My lost phone was not your issue, but the mishandling and poor customer service at time of replacement is absolutely your issue.
Is this really how your company does business? Is there no corporate funding available for training of employees? Wow, just wow.

Purchased a new IPhone 11 and was told that I needed to purchase a 49.00 charger because this model did not come with a charger or work on one I had. Once home, I found my old charger worked perfectly well with IPhone 11. Returned to store with unopened charger box and was denied a return less than an hour after purchase. Was charged 25.00 transport fee which my grandson had to import manually because that was not done;no refund for that either. Although the clerk was very friendly and helpful her sales tactics were less than honest and a bit shady. I bought a couple of other accessories that were quoted as 20.99 and 16.99 but all rang up for 29.99 each on an illegible receipt. I often visit that store about my wireless matters, but never again. Very disappointed!

A slight wait but all in all polite quick friendly service. The inventory was lacking a bit, but they do order specifics for you if its either out of stock or not in their stock.
