I am tired of being charged a different amount than what was agreed upon. Budget comes up with a different reason to overcharge me every time I rent directly through them, and then I have to call several times and wait several days to get my refund. I advise using a third party because I didn’t have these problems when I went through Expedia even though I was still renting from Budget.

Renting from budget was easy and the car was great. The weather was freezing cold and the car had heated seats and steering wheel, I LOVED IT :) ♥ I will definitely rent from Budget again.

My Experience was terrible . The lady that helped us out was not empathetic at all and was extremely rude . This is not the first time we’ve encountered her. Last time we rented a car she held the line up for 15 minutes talking to someone on the radio about when she was getting off . This time I rented a midsize car months in advance . When we went to pick it up the car was out of stock which is understandable due to the holiday. I asked her if they could give us a SUV because I have a 3 year old toddler . She told me I would have to pay an extra 55 dollars a day . They gave us a truck with a flatbed . This is not at all comfortable for my Toddler or appropriate. I will never rent here again.

We always use budget because they are cheaper than all the other companies. But I was a little upset with my last rental experience. We are very Consistent with returning our rental cars cleaner and in better condition than we received it we Also always fuel up the gas tank full. We took a picture of the whole car when we first picked it up just in case but forgot to take a picture of the fuel level gauge. I get a email with my receipt which has double the amount charged to my Card on it, when I call them, I found out they charge me $10 a gallon because apparently, I brought the car on an empty tank. I literally stopped by Sam's Club and got a full tank of gas 15 minutes before I dropped the car off I was beyond Ticked off . I had to drive all the way to the airport to deal with this situation. Thank goodness there was a good manager on duty that had sense He decided to go ahead and give me a refund. He says they use some type of system where the employees don't even look at the fuel gauge, they just hook it up to some type of machine that tells them whether or not there's fuel in the car, obviously it's not foolproof.... so take a picture of the whole car picking up and dropping off also of the gas level .... other then that I will continue using budget

October 2023 - Tulsa Airport - Took a Lyft ride here from Tulsa Club. (I need to add here that all of our Lyft drivers up until this point were really personable, polite and efficient in their driving skills.) This Budget car rental got us into our rental in a good amount of time and out of our rental even faster on return despite the drop off lanes having three or four each in line. My partner chose the "manager's special" or "mystery deal/rate" (depending on the company) when booking online to save money. We scored. They gave us a huge new Dodge Ram Bighorn that was perfect for our location and destination. Loved how much space there was with the back seat and multiple compartments. Lots of bells and whistles but not so many it was too difficult to drive. Great price. Highly recommend this Budget.

I had a fantastic experience with this rental car service. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The rental process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this rental car company for anyone in need of reliable transportation. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Budget Rental Car Tulsa.Flight arrived at Tulsa on time at 6pm. Went to Budget to pickup reserved in advance intermediate car. Was told there was no intermediate cars left, that they could give me an "upgrade" to a Ford Flex SUV. I told the Budget rep that was not an update but a "downgrade" because the SUV had significantly less mpg fuel efficiency, and the reserved rate for the intermediate car should be reduced to compensate me for it. Budget rep said "he did not have the authority for do that, and would have to take the SUV because he had no other vehicle". We had no choice but to take the vehicle, but strongly felt we had a "bait and switch" done to us in promising one type of vehicle but being provided another. Got the vehicle and realized on the way to the hotel that it had been smoked in by a prior renter as it had a heavy old smoke smell trying to be covered up by a fragrance added to the SUV's interior. We were traveling to Tulsa to attend a family funeral and did not want to arrive to the funeral with a old smoke smell in our clothes, not that we would ever want a vehicle with a smoke smell that would do the same. Called Budget, told them of the smoke condition of the vehicle so: 1) we weren't charged a fee having smoked in the vehicle when it has been delivered to us that way:); and 2) get a replacement vehicle, preferably a intermediate car we reserved. Was told by Budget rep on the phone that we could return to the airport the next morning and get a replacement, which with much inconvienvce I did. After explaining the reason for our travel (funeral) to Budget rep Kayla, through extra time and effort by her, was able to get an intermediate car.This was a second time in a row that a "bait and switch" of vehicles was done by Tulsa Airport Budget. A year pervious I had reserved a compact car and ended up with a Toyota pickup truck. Again, at that time no rental adjustment or efforts to "make the situation right".

I returned a F 150 Sunday, September 24 to Budget car rental at the Tulsa airport. We had no issues with the truck we rented to move some furnishings. Our doorbell rang around midnight. The young man said he was from Avis. He showed my husband a ladies wallet with my ID and credit cards. I had left it in the truck when we filled up. I had no idea the wallet was not in my purse. This young man drove to our home to return the wallet. It was late and the young man left so quickly we did not have a chance to thank him properly. I would like the opportunity to thank him for going out of his way to return my wallet. Everything was intact. This truly a wonderful and honest young man you have working for you. He saved me from a great deal of grief and frustration having to replace all those items.Thank you,

Overall this was a good experience. First car they allotted me, smelled of smoke very badly, but they resolved my issue quickly with a different car and I was more than satisfied. This would have been a 5-star review if the 2nd car had been my first.

My experience with this agency for double American Express points was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I struggled to find anyone at the service counter, and even the neighboring agency's agent had to direct me to the garage attendant. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I was told to go back inside and wait for the manager to be contacted. The process of obtaining the rental car key was a time-consuming ordeal. As a company, it's crucial to have sufficient staff to accommodate reservations and ensure a smooth experience for customers.

I was very dissatisfied with the truck I got on the day of my reservation. I requested a car when I made the reservation not a truck or van which was the only two opinions offered to me when I when to pick up my vehicle. Who would want to bring a groom in either of those to a wedding smh. And the staff was giving an attitude like I paid my money to get a good vehicle.

The check in experience could be way less time consuming. Standing in line in the Oklahoma heat to only be told you have to go in the airport and stand in another line was not fun. The young lady at the inside counter was very friendly and helpful. After getting checked in I was told to go back outside and stand in line again!I tried to pre- register but, the site was not working correctly.

Pick up and drop off was quick & easy. My deposit was returned within hours. The car was great! I will definitely rent from Budget next time I need a vacation vehicle.

Bait and switch that will quadruple the cost you were quoted if you booked online. I assume if you call and make a reservation they will also give you a very low number that will skyrocket upon pickup but cannot confirm that since I booked online. The car was clean and some of the staff were nice enough but I don't appreciate the blatant deception.

We were provided with the vehicle that we had reserved, so that was a positive. And the vehicle ran reliably.The negative was that the vehicle had body damage that we had to take extra time to make sure we were not held responsible for and the car was dirty inside and out. The trunk in particular was full of dried chunks of mud.
