Animal acupuncture has been absolutely amazing!! Our 1 year old dog Reece woke up one day and began yelping in pain incessantly. When we took her to our primary vet, they took x-rays & recommended spinal surgery to fuse a dislocated Atlas bone in the neck. My husband & I hated this idea for our lil 10 pound dog & we knew this would limit her future quality of life. So we did some research & found Animal Acupuncture of Tulsa. They performed a bunch of assessments & created a treatment plan for Reece. After the first few treatments of acupuncture & physical therapy, Reece stopped showing any signs of pain. This place is absolutely fantastic & all the girls who work there are so patient & kind! This was the best decision we made for our girl & we would recommend this to any pet owner!

Dr Heather Owen and her team are bar none some of the best I’ve ever met. My sweet Ernie had back surgery and didn’t seem quite right after. We were referred to Animal Acupuncture by his oncologist. I was so impressed after a few treatments of acupuncture, I started taking my Bitsy girl. Bitsy had had back surgery in 2016. After a month of so of physical therapy, we were told that was as good as she was going to get. Fast forward to 2022, after many weekly (sometimes several times a week) appointments, I saw an incredible change in the way she walked. While she’ll never be 100%, she improved far beyond where her previous therapist said she wouldn’t. We absolutely adore everyone at Animal Acupuncture. Dr Wallace, Dr Williams, and Dr Owen are hands down some of the best people I’ve met in the vet world. I recommend Animal Acupuncture to everyone I meet. 10/10 recommend.

My rescue Betty had a previous leg fracture that never got medical treatment due to negligence of the previous owner. Was referred here by my Primary vet. Betty is a bit reactive, but everyone here is beyond amazing. They took their time and allowed Betty to warm up to them. They provide tons of treats to show her that it's a good thing to go to rehab. Dr. Owen was beyond amazing, very helpful, and caring. Cannot wait to see the progress Betty makes in the upcoming weeks! Betty will now cry to get out of the vehicle every time we pull in because she is so excited to see everyone!

We took our Frenchie to Animal Acupuncture for a neck issue when he couldn’t raise his head without pain. The doctors and staff at Animal Acupuncture were amazing. They treated him like he was their own. They were able to heal his issue and eliminate the pain. I highly recommend them.

For the last half year, I had the pleasure of visiting Animal Acupuncture in Tulsa and was treated by Dr. Owen, a highly skilled and compassionate veterinarian. I would absolutely give her a 5-star rating without hesitation. Dr. Owen is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in her field, which was evident from the moment we started discussing my Toy Aussie, Pixel's leg injury. She provided thorough and insightful answers to all my questions and concerns, which helped me to feel confident in her abilities and reassured me that my pet was in the best hands possible. One of the things that really impressed me about Dr. Owen was the level of compassion she showed toward my furry friend. She took the time to understand my pet's condition and history, and performed a very thorough examination, leaving no stone unturned. Her gentle and patient approach helped my pet feel at ease, making the entire experience much less stressful for us. Dr. Owen's use of advanced therapy methods, including shock therapy, water therapy, and custom exercise, were truly game-changing. These treatments helped my pet to recover faster and more effectively than I ever thought possible. He graduated yesterday and is happy and healthy. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Owen and Animal Acupuncture to anyone in need of a kind, knowledgeable, and highly skilled veterinarian. Dr. Owen and her team have truly gone above and beyond to help my pet feel better, and I couldn't be more grateful for their expertise and compassion.

Today was a special day ? Last year Kai got diagnosed with hip dysplasia and was limited to only going on slow walks and even that would cause him to limp and be in pain. His condition was bad enough that it was recommended that he have a double total hip replacement. We decided to hold off on the surgery and just focus on rehab first. I’m so happy to say that after a year of weekly hydrotherapy, pain management, PRP injections, laser therapy, at home physical therapy, a ton of supplements and meds later, my good boy graduated today and is able to run and play pain free and no longer needs any surgery or weekly rehab?? so thankful for the amazing team at @animal_acupuncture_llc and all of their hard work to help Kai be able to live his best life!

We were referred here for acupuncture however our Dog was given another treatment instead. Four Shockwave sessions were done that made the problem "worse" (their word). Not impressed at all! We now have a dog with a bad limp after this treatment.We were told 98% of dogs respond well to it except we were expecting acupuncture prescribed by our Vet. Now they recommend another $1500 proceedure; not happy about our outcome at all.

Dr. Owen and her team are absolutely incredible! They literally saved our little Pixie's life. The pain our little girl was in was unbearable for her and we were at a complete loss as to what to do. Our veterinarian suggested Dr. Owen. Thank God! She is everything and more. Our girl is walking, running, and able to play again.
