Out car had broke down in Stratford and my family and I ended up getting a room here for 3 days. I had a great stay! I got a great price, the room was nice and clean and Kati called and checked on us to make sure we were okay. I greatly recommend this hotel.

Well, first off, I stay in motels 4 to 5 nights a week. The check in process for the most part is pretty decent, but this place really threw me for a loop. The front desk guy was kind of rude. There was no computer and no printer so I had to sign in on a hand written piece of paper. There was no way for me to get a receipt. When I asked about the receipt, the guy blew up and was pretty rude.I have celiac disease, and have to bring my food with me every week. They had no ice machine. The microwave turntable wouldn’t turn, and melted my plastic container. So I got to eat part of my food. The towels seem decent, but the wash cloths are dingy blue and look like they have been here for ages.On a good note, the room was clean and they have hot water. They have good sheets and pillowcases and the bed is comfortable. If you just need a place to lay your head for the night, I’d say it’s worth it.If you’re looking for a three star or better, I definitely keep looking.Good luck

Everything about this hotel is nice but the train rolling in and blasting every hour if seems. Terrible location I guess for that.

Right off the highway. Clean room and excellent service. The person at the desk Wayne is an ex SWAT officer and a gentleman. We were driving in a 16 foot truck from Arizona to Missouri and reached the hotel right after midnight. Even though he said reception will be open till 11 pm , he waited for us and handed the keys . He also assured that our truck will be safe as he is the last person bad guys want to mess with. The room was very comfortable and we slept well. He was up early the next day and waved as good bye. I strongly recommend this place.Clean and comfortable bed. The location is great and there are gas stations and restaurants close by. Very good place to sleep for a night if you are driving cross country.Safety: Security cameras and the person who is running the hotel is an ex SWAT officer.

We stopped at Home Town Inn after a long drive moving our daughter to Nevada. The inn looked inviting, so we decided to stop for the night. The lobby was charming so we thought we made a great decision. We were checked in by an older guy who continued to go on and on about the rules of the room, we had to turn off all the lights, the heater, etc and repeated this instruction to emphasize the importance. We assured him we would. He went on to explain that his “associate” was the chief of police and that there was absolutely no smoking in the room, and we assured him that there would be no smoking, this information was delivered in a passive aggressive posture bordering on a threat. Upon entering the room, we found the TV didn’t work even after checking switch and the plugs but decided not to disturb the desk. Also upon entering the room our room phone was ringing, it was the desk attendant telling us that our uhaul could not be parked in front of the room, and to park across the parking lot. For all the rules, the condition of the room did not warrant all the extra behavior from the front desk. The carpet was worn with holes near the bathroom, missing trim, unrepaired water damage in the bathroom, broken furniture and old mattresses with outdated bedding. We would probably never stay again. It was functional.

Cheap motel right on I 54 after crossing the OK state line. Looks well kept from the outside. Clean and nicely landscaped campus. Needed a quick overnight and wound up here. Man at front desk, pleasant. He caused the card reader machine to malfunction and couldn't give me a key to my room. He let me in with a master and double checked whether I was going anywhere cause I had no key. Bolt lock didn't work on the door to the room. This is starting to sound like a horror flick, but I lived and there were no bad intentions. Anyway, the 'handicap' shower head was zip tied to the piping on the wall. Crickets sang their song to me inside the room around 3am. I smashed one, but the other eluded capture. AC worked well and this place had awesome Wifi. Beds were comfy. Roomy room. What does one want for 55$ including tax?

Debated driving further but thought I'd check it out first & Wayne at the front desk was nice enough to show me a room. I never saw any sign of roaches or bedbugs like some of the older reviewers posted & believe me, I turned back the bed, turned the lights off & on, etc. because that's DEFINITELY a deal-breaker for me !!! That said, you'll easily spend 2-3x more for a nicer hotel & undoubtedly have finer accommodations with more amenities, but if you're just passing through, it'll do. Yes, it's a little rough around the edges ~ "clean" but not spotless, dated furnishings, bathroom & vanity could use fresh hardware, etc. Here & there it needed a little spackle & drywall repair. But, it wasn't gross & the toilet looked brand new. Drive right up to your own exterior door which I much prefer. Fridge/micro. Free wifi w/decent signal. It was over 100 degrees & although the air wasn't already on, the room did cool down within an hour. Train tracks across the street so be prepared for that but I travel w/earbuds so I was able to sleep fairly well. I wouldn't call it a destination stop, but certainly OK for a weary traveler. Ask to see your room first to make sure it'll fit your needs.

The front desk attendant was brash at best, and acted like we were idiots our whole stay. We had to stay two days, and it was awful. The carpet was disgusting. The bathroom was gross, like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a few stays. There was a stench when we turned on the air conditioning, and it got worse when we had to turn on the heat at night. The price for what you get was outrageous- almost $200 for our two days, and there was no other choice because our car had busted and we couldn't just drive to the next town. And no one cleaned at all during our stay. No one checked if we needed any toiletries/toilet paper. We ended up leaving in a rush because the front desk was calling us every time we turned around to ask if we'd be gone by checkout. Very rude staff in general. If you have any choice, don't choose this place. If you do stay here, don't be surprised if the staff treats you like you're inconveniencing them and is completely unhelpful.

This hotel was very clean. You can park right outside your door for convenience. The price was very reasonable. All inclusive was 69.00 for a king size bed. There was also full living room furniture ,fridge microwave.Very nice, but due to covid there was not a continental breakfast as advertised on the sign outside. They did offer coffee and a wrapped roll. Was e would definitely gi there again. Friendly staff.

For the price, it was amazing. But the security was sketchy, glad I carry a gun. The room was decent, but the clothes hanging rack had been pulled out of the wall, and was setting on the dresser. The fridge wasn't very cold, when we flushed the toilet water shot out from between the tank and bowl. And the jet tub was pretty dirty. Couldn't use it! Just showered. But the bed was pretty ok and the AC worked. It served it's perpose. No holiday inn!

This place was a god send to a road weary mom and daughter on a long cross country road trip. Manager was a blessing in calming my nerves, worrying that we would make it in time for check in. Perfectly clean and comfortable rooms too.
