“I’ve stayed here multiple times and everything was fine.This time, however, I get a call from the lady that owns it and asks me if that’s my dog laying by the tree. Did I mention he was on a leash? He was. I said” yes ma’am he is.” Then she tells me they “don’t take dogs.” I told her I had not ever let him in the room. She told me they don’t take dogs period for safety reasons. He’s a 15 lb feist squirrel dog. Then she said they have signs. I told her I had never seen the sign. She says, “well if you’ve ever looked at the front door I don’t know how you didn’t see it.” I took that as she called me a liar.So I go to the office to discuss the check out and charges and I see the sign. It says “ No Pets”. I honestly had not ever noticed that sign but if I had, I would’ve assumed it meant in the rooms. So having said all this, up until now I had really enjoyed staying here. Not “nice” but plenty nice enough for the price. I hate it that this happened but I will not be able to stay here again.”
