I’ve stayed here multiple times and everything was fine.This time, however, I get a call from the lady that owns it and asks me if that’s my dog laying by the tree. Did I mention he was on a leash? He was. I said” yes ma’am he is.” Then she tells me they “don’t take dogs.” I told her I had not ever let him in the room. She told me they don’t take dogs period for safety reasons. He’s a 15 lb feist squirrel dog. Then she said they have signs. I told her I had never seen the sign. She says, “well if you’ve ever looked at the front door I don’t know how you didn’t see it.” I took that as she called me a liar.So I go to the office to discuss the check out and charges and I see the sign. It says “ No Pets”. I honestly had not ever noticed that sign but if I had, I would’ve assumed it meant in the rooms. So having said all this, up until now I had really enjoyed staying here. Not “nice” but plenty nice enough for the price. I hate it that this happened but I will not be able to stay here again.

Discriminated against us. They said we don't give rooms to locals and then I said we are from out of town. They said oh well we still aren't gonna give you a room. So 1 star my money isn't good enough.

Quaint little cabin near National Forest with affordable rates. Has small kitchen, exterior BBQ area, & included everything aside from food & personal toiletries. Clean & quiet.Walkability: Dollar store & laundry mat

We rented a beautiful little cabin for only $65 a night! The lady at the office was very nice ands the cabin was fully stocked and clean. Great place! ?

we stayed in cabin 12. courteous management and housekeeping does a really good job keeping the place clean, well-stocked and comfortable. unfortunately this cabin had small roaches that came out at night. good for the

This quiet little spot is quaint, relaxing and just enjoyable! You get your own cabin with all the amenities. The owners are so helpful and friendly!!! Great experience, loved it so much I will be booking it again for next years ride! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

We love Black Rock Roost. The owners were so friendly. Wonderful rooms that were immaculate. Not one worry during the stay. Sat on the balcony and watched the early morning traffic go by. So very nice. We will not visit Talihina without staying at Black Rock Roost.

My husband and I love Black Rock Roost. We stayed in the cabin above the office and were in disbelief at how well stocked it was and it was so clean. We had not one concern during the stay. The owners were so nice and friendly. We sat on the balcony early in the morning and it was so pleasant. We will always stay here when we visit Talihina. Easily 5 starts.

I travel all over for work. I have never been to Oklahoma and I got to say I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was probably my top 5 favorite hotels ever. Absolutely gorgeous with the most amazing woodwork throughout the whole place. These wonderful people put me in one of their loft, apartment type places and I was only a minute from the job I was doing. I absolutely fell in love with this hotel. Would definitely recommend

Love this place! We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in & saw a beautiful room! Very clean & we expected it to be clean but we didn't expect it to be so nice! The outside looks average but it doesn't give any tell to the inside. There were cups, plates, coffee & everything! I wish we would've took a picture before we slept in the bed. The owners were very friendly as well. Definitely the place to be & we will be back!Rooms: Very very nice & affordable!Nearby activities: ATV trails. We came here with out riding group called Where The Blacktop Ends The Fun Begins just for ATV riding

There are only a handful of places to stay in this Talihina area, and this is a good one. Very affordable at $72 a night for the upstairs room we got. We've been back a couple of times since. Very reasonably priced and clean!
