There are a lot of complaints in these reviews. Let me help. If you want a hotel room that has everything you desire then rent a room at Wyndham by the falls. It's $550 a night. Pool, exercise room, room service and toilet paper to play with. Cherokee inn is the least expensive in Tahlequah. We don't have bed bugs or roaches and the room was clean. Carol works in that little space 24/7 365 days a week. Zero time off. She barely has time to go across the street to buy what she needs. She is woken all hours of night or day. Many said, it was the only place to stay. Be happy you weren't sleeping in the streets. If you are not wealthy then we settle for less..that's the way life works.
Rooms: Clean. No bugs the bed was very comfortable
Nearby activities: Save a lot, sit down and fast food. Dollar General across the street.
Safety: 3 locks always makes me feel safe.

I wasn't there 3 days ago but I have stayed there on several occasions, the people hate my daughter, the rooms are that of the cheapest hotel on earth but too expensive for what you are paying for...No pool, or ice machine, Circle Kay laundry mat just beside & across the Street
Food and drinks: Save-A-Lot and a Dollar General right across the street for food

My Daughter called in and made a reservation and we arrived about 20 minutes later. Staff in office was very nice and checking in was a breeze. Gave us directions to some local restaurants and we chose Smok Shak BBQ. Thanks, food was delicious!!! Room was clean, smelled clean and beds were comfortable. Can’t wait to explore the Salt Plains in the morning. If ever in town would definitely return.
Rooms: Quiet and comfortable
Nearby activities: Digging at Salt plains

Gotta respect this location. They have cameras and will get on you immediately if they don't recognize you. I made that mistake once, only then did I realize how serious this business was. In my opinion, this is the best location for a short or long term stay. No bed bugs, no drama. It's peaceful.

Rooms: I’ve had two rooms there. One had no working lights or plugs if that says anything.
Nearby activities: Right by grocery store, auto parts store, close access to all necessities.
Food and drinks: walking distance to Whataburger, Taco Bell, and sonic.

Carol Johnson, who manages the property was very unprofessional. She was yelling at customers. She had marijuana in her pocket while she was in the office. She refused to give her boss’s contact information to make a complaint. She refused to give me a receipt. I will never stay at this property or recommend anyone here again. Horrible experience here.

I'm not sure if this is called the tahlequah inn now, but that's where I'm staying and it not too bad. Room was nice could have been cleaned a little better but not bad. They have an indoor pool and a small gym. The breakfast wasn't the greatest but overall I would recommend this place for the price, no bugs and close by several stores.
Rooms: Nice
Nearby activities: Accessible
Safety: Safe
Walkability: Doable
Food and drinks: Poor
Noteworthy details: Friendly customer service

So I have cervical cancer and my time of the month is out of my control I barely got any blood on there sheet. Stripped the bed myself and even told them about it and apologized and paid for it and they refused me a room.. your roach fest is not that impressive and the attitudes from everyone especially the females are so ridiculous and rachid!! Don't Stay There worst experience I've ever had and I've lived in McAlester!!!!

Worst stay ever the rooms had roaches bedbugs. The staff is rude they say no pets, but they got a dog, and even if your Pet was an emotional support animal, they threaten to kick you out .never again will I stay at Cherokee inn.

I love this Inn, it's such quiet, quaint, and Quagmire of a place I just love it!!!Nearby activities: Just a quick drive to Cherokee casino from this hotel or you can get the cat's bus for $75 and it's perfect place to stay if you're going to gamble!

I was an extended stay, didn't experience any bed bugs, the owner is nice, friendly and caring lady. Stickler for the rules, which is nice for a change. Checked to see if I needed anything daily. I will stay here again, anytime!
