“It is a lovely place to spend and day or two and relax. It is close enough to Sulphur and attractions to be convenient, but secluded enough to make you feel away from it. We had a nice room, with comfortable bed. It had both a shower and whirlpool tub. A private patio was a nice place to sit and soak in the surroundings. There is a spa and restaurant located on the grounds. Dinner and spa services are a separate charge, unless you do a package deal. Breakfast was included. The breakfast was good. There was complimentary water, soda and snacks for guest available most any time. We availed ourselves of the Dinner and a couples massage. The Swedish massage was terrific. Many other massages, and spa services were available. The dinner was a nice experience at the Barron of Beef. Of all the things, this one was my least favoriteThe food was average to slightly above. Dessert was really good, and mimosas were freely given. The restaurant is intimate and the window seats are the ones to get. The feel was elegant but casual to business casual in dress. There is a small quiet bar and area located in the spa. All the people on grounds were extremely friendly and helpful, from the initial show you around tour until the finally check out and settling up. A lovely place to "get away" to. I recommend greatly.”

“We stayed two nights on a family weekend getaway, and it was great. Quiet, secluded, and near the parks. We will definitely be coming back.Rooms: Small, but nicely furnished. A/C is cold, beds are reasonably comfortable, and it has a kitchen.”

“The Artesian is a special little “getaway” spot for my family and I. I’ve taken them numerous times over the last 3-4 years. They definitely have the best hot tub you’ll ever soak in, and is by far, my favorite thing about the hotel.Most nights we’ve stayed have been on spontaneous trips, so I’ve learned that it can be difficult getting a reservation last minute. It’s best to schedule your nights at least in week in advance if possible. It’s a small hotel so the rooms fill up pretty quick. But, the size of the hotel is another feature that makes it so special.”
