I had been with Larry Gosney State Farm for a total of 28 years. I had been loyal, and in very good standing for decades. This past November, I hit a deer, which completely annihilated by radiator and front bumper. I called and made a claim, to which they directed me to Gerber collision and repair in Norman. This "collision repair" shop turned out to be a chop shop, where they zip tied sensors to my car, lost a cap, and then just put duct tape on it. When they contacted me to pick it up, it was well before the due date, I was released my vehicle with the thought that it was fixed. 2 days later, it starts throwing engine codes, regarding fuel fan sensors and relays. I went to the collision shop, and they immediately turned me away, since they had already received my deductible payment. I spoke with Larry, at State farm, and he was so far from able to compose a full sentence to get my case reopened from the repair shop, that it ended up working against me in the long run. After 3 hrs at the Stillwater store, trying to get him to remember everything i was saying, I left. He was absolutely the worst case scenario to try and plead my case to reopen. He ended up speaking to me like I was a child and at that point, I'd had enough. If you need someone with enough mental bearing to be helpful in a stressful situation, I recommend NOT using Larry Gosney State Farm in Stillwater. You would think that close to 30 years of loyalty would get a bit more discretion regarding their ill advice.
