Tony really took care of us. From dealing with 3rd party insurer nightmares to fixing my car like it was before a lady hit my car. The gang there are top notch. Highly recommend them.Services: Painting

We loved looking at all of the little parts and pointing out different things that made this thing possible! Reading about the projects and the amount of love, time, and effort put in to this was extremely worth it to us! IMO We had the best family day out!

So disappointed. Took my car back 4 times for them to attempt to make it right (of which they took it back each time at no cost to me, as stated). Car still has paint runs and bubbles. Got it back with the check engine light on and issues with the 3rd brake light of which there were no mechanical issues in the first place when sending it in, only body damage. I will say that the staff was always friendly and got us in for the work quickly and they were always apologetic.Services: Painting

I usually try to avoid giving negative reviews, but this is one that I feel needs to be shared. In March 2023 we took my van to G&M Body Shop East to have two areas of damage repaired. The first was the rear lift gate that I had dented backing into a truck, which was paid for by our insurance. The second area was a dent on one of the front fenders that was already on the van when we bought it, and we paid for this repair out of pocket. G&M had my van for a week to complete the repairs. When arrived to pick up my van we noticed that a tan substance been dripped inside the passenger headlight assembly and dried there. I went back inside to ask about it and was told that they had tried to repair the headlight assembly because it was not sealing (due to the damage it had when we brought it in) and that glue had dropped down inside the plastic of the assembly. They acknowledged that it didn't look good. I was told that if we didn't like the way it looked they could order a new headlight assembly but that we would have to pay the $400+ cost of the part. I went back outside to relay this information to my husband. He went inside and told them that this wasn't acceptable because it was their mistake and they needed to fix it. The tech said he would talk to the owner and get back to us and we left. They called my husband that same day and told him they would replace the headlight assembly for free. Once the part came in they replaced the headlight assembly and we thought everything was resolved and we were good. Before leaving the tech told me not to use any wax for a certain number of days if I took it to a car wash. I promptly forgot if he had said 60 or 90 days, so decided to just go with 90 days to be safe. I also decided to just avoid the car wash for that time because I didn't want to risk accidentally choosing an option with wax and messing anything up. (It's also important to note that my van is kept in a garage and I generally try to avoid driving in rain if possible) Fast forward to July 2023 and the vans first trip to the car wash since repairs. In the automatic car wash water begins pouring inside from the ceiling at the top of the rear lift gate. As soon as I exited the car wash I drove to G&M. The employee who greeted me came outside and was able to immediately see that their techs just hadn't popped a seal in place around the wires that connect to the lift gate. He asked that I leave the van with them so they could make sure the problem was fixed and have their detail guys clean it up and dry it out. 5 hours later I picked up the van and they confirmed the seal was the problem and they fixed it and got it all dried out. While they did get it dry under the plastic panel on the ceiling where the water was pouring in, and they did vacuum out most of the moisture from the floor, that is the extent of what they did. They left dirt and handprints all over the plastic panel that they removed, and it now has a gap between that panel and the ceiling where the water was gushing out. So, while they seemed to do their best to correct their multiple mistakes...they only did so once my husband stepped in and they were no longer dealing with a woman. And they also did the bare minimum to correct their mistakes, leaving me with more of a mess to clean up than I had before the car wash.

A must stop if you’re in Stillwater, Oklahoma. G & M Body Shop has Optimus Prime at the east location. Bumblebee is at the west location.

I had a great experience with this shop last fall- a deer kissed my front end and caused serious damage. But they fix and restored my vehicle. And has been running great since.

I felt that the guy handling my estimate was rude. I asked a very simple question that required a simple answer and I was told that he works for G&M and not the insurance company. Any questions I had for him it seemed like he had a rude way of answering. I would recommend people only to go see their statues of autobots not to use their business.
