IF THE MANAGER READS THIS: please get in touch with me. I'm coming up empty on how to contact a GM for the gas station.
Last night (7/18/24), after prepaying $50 in fuel, I went in to purchase two snacks for the kiddos.
My total was $2.13 and asked the cashier if I could do cash back. He said I could and rung up my cheese sticks. As I went to put in my card and select cash back, he stopped me and said " If you wish to do cash back, Osage Casino is asking you to spend $5.00 more dollars".
I asked if this was on top of the convenience fee and if I select no on the pin pad, will it deny my cashback option? He responded " Ma'am. Ma'am. I cannot speak for what the pin pad says. If you wish to do cash back, Osage Casino is asking if you will spend $5 more dollars. " I said to this man, so I'd be spending a total of $7.13 plus the convenience fee for cash back? And are you saying that since you are asking for me to spend $5 more, and I am opting not to do that, are you turning down my transaction? He stated " Ma'am. You HAVE. TO. SPEND. FIVE. MORE. DOLLARS. Osage Casino is asking you to spend $5 more to do cash back!!! " I responded again " I understand. However, I am turning down the request for spending $5 more dollars. Now, are you denying my transaction since I am choosing no? He stated " Yes. As a matter of fact, I am. " I said okay. Went to the ATM withdrew $20, paying $3 in an ATM fee, and went to leave.
As I was leaving, I stopped at the cashier and said that I just wanted him to know something, and he does not need to respond, we both have better things to do, I said " Do you see that truck right there, I just put $50 of fuel in it, thus spending $50 dollars here at this casino, and I needed to grab a snack for the kids and $20 to give to my oldest. I had already spent more than what you requested... I hope you have a blessed night" He began to huff and raise his voice as I walked out so idk what he responded saying.
But I'd REALLY like to contact someone at this gas station as I have some questions:
1. Is this a real policy? That I HAVE to choose too spend an additional $5, on top of the convenience fee, to get cash back?
2. When did this policy start?
3. Can I not just say no to the request since " Osage Casino is asking *IF* you will spend another $5 " and pay the normal convenience fee?
4. If so, how on earth, is that legal???
I'd love some feedback or to speak with the general manager of this location. I have tried the website and can't figure out how.

Just got gas there. It was moving soooo slow. Usually the sign of a dirty filter. I finally stopped after 1 gallon because I figured it would get me to work. Got to driving and it wasn't even pumping gas! Now I have to stop again for gas on the way. Called to tell them and the phone just rang and rang.

Easy in easy out. Ample parking and gas pumps. Inside very large and clean, plenty of trinkets. Then it opens into the casino.

Non ethanol fuel is my reason to stop here... I wish the drives were kept cleaner would be my only complaint which is a minor problem
